This series of videos is great for learning how to set up and use all the features of the FH-X730BS. Very helpful. Thanks.
Do you have a video for the FH-S501BT??
My phone used to automatically connect to my pioneer but lately i need to pair it manually everytime the car on.... Is there any way to make it autmatically again?
I recommend to delete the Pioneer in-dash receiver from your phone’s Bluetooth memory. Next, power your phone off and the power your phone back on.
Make sure your phone has the Bluetooth switched on and make sure your phone is NOT actively connected to other Bluetooth devices like a headset or a portable speaker. This may block in the in dash receiver from connecting to the phone.
Next, I recommend to delete all phones from the in-dash receiver’s Bluetooth memory and restart the vehicle. You can see this demonstrated in a Pioneer How To video here: ruclips.net/video/_q2aLp_VAeo/видео.html
Next begin the phone pairing process. Open the Bluetooth window on your phone. Make sure Bluetooth is switched on. Keep the phone’s Bluetooth window open. This will make the phone visible to other Bluetooth devices.
Make sure no other phones are actively connected to the in dash receiver when you attempt to pair a new phone. On the in dash receiver, make sure Bluetooth visibility is switched on.

@@Kevindoescrazyyy What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver?
I have the x730-bs and whenever I get artists up on Spotify on the audio system it only goes a-k, was a-j But I wanted to go from A-to-Z. How do I do that? Any help will be great please.
I have a question, I have the FH-S500BT version, can I connect it use my car steering wheel controls for volume and radio station search?
The Pioneer FH-S500BT can be controlled by the vehicle's steering wheel controls through the use of a 3rd party adapter. Many are available. Here is one possibility: metraonline.com/part/AXSWC The steering wheel control adapter must plug into the back of the in-dash receiver as shown in this Pioneer unboxing video: ruclips.net/video/rJGMcJibjfM/видео.html You can find more videos on Pioneer's RUclips Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics
I no longer have Pandora or Spotify as a selection on this radio, why? I have the FH-X8300BHS model.
As of 2022 April, both Pandora and Spotify have chosen to remove the necessary code from their respective phone apps to make them work as a source on in-dash receivers.
You can still listen to Spotify and Pandora by using the Bluetooth Audio Source on your Pioneer receiver.
I recommend to:
1. Be sure your phone is paired to the in-dash receiver through Bluetooth. You can learn how to pair your phone here: ruclips.net/video/M9jm7zOuJLQ/видео.html
2. Begin to play some music from Spotify or Pandora, or nearly any other app on your phone. When playing music, be sure to adjust the phone's volume control to about 50%.
3. Change the in-dash receiver's source to Bluetooth Audio. You can see it in this Pioneer How To video: ruclips.net/video/27k27bGOR7I/видео.html

On mine I do not have the Bluetooth memory options at all in my system settings....????
What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver?
I have a question when you press and hold the SRC and its supposedly turns off does the light and everything turn off or they stay on and not effect the battery
When you press and hold the SRC button on FH-X731BT that will switch off the source and you will not hear music. With the source switched off you can press the DISP button to turn the display. You can see that near the end of this video: ruclips.net/video/glinbzNOsqk/видео.html If you turn off the vehicle and remove the key the in dash receiver should completely power down. When you remove the key from the vehicle if the radio is still operating it may be wired incorrectly. Check out this video for more information on wiring: ruclips.net/video/kR2MO2kwFug/видео.html
Excellent series, but how do you disable the Pandora option? I have no need for it and don't want to have it in my source list.
Excellent videos but how do you just keep FM and Bluetooth connection on my source list that's all I want on there
The firmware is equally compatible with these two FH-X731BT models. =. FH-x730BS ???????

Does the stereo have a mic? I purchase a car with this stereo in it.. Only bad thing is there is no mic when talking to someone.
Many Pioneer receivers including the FH-X731BT include an external microphone for making hands free Bluetooth phone calls. You can see it in this Pioneer unboxing video: ruclips.net/video/quuOBAvNKdY/видео.html If you need to buy a new microphone, I recommend PacParts. This is Pioneer's parts distributor in the US. You can find them here: www.pacparts.com/part.cfm?part_no=CPM1109&mfg=Pioneer You can find more videos on Pioneer's RUclips Channel here; ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics
@@pioneerelectronics Thank you.. I will order one
My stereo model FH-X730BS shows error 19 without having the USB connected, how is it fixed?
I recommend to disconnect any USB device and unplug any USB cable from the receiver. Next, press the receiver's microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer FH-X730BS at the bottom right below the USB port. You can see this done on a similar receiver here: ruclips.net/video/WQ8p8b8vZKc/видео.html Restart the vehicle. Next do a System Reset. You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/Aj8JItUGMPw/видео.html I recommend to use a different cable or USB drive from this point forward. I changed the battery in my vehicle now I cant get radio to turn back on need a video for that
I'm not exactly clear on what issue you are experiencing. Is the in-dash receiver not even lighting up? If that's the case, is it possible a fuse failed during the battery change? Or is it in it's demonstration mode? What model number of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? If you have the Pioneer FH-X731BT press the "SRC" button to select the Radio. Here is a video about the demonstration mode: ruclips.net/video/w3708-FyHw8/видео.html and here is a video for the first time setup: ruclips.net/video/cmTgZSwcUJs/видео.html Please be sure to have the latest firmware installed on the Pioneer FH-X731BT. How to fix from my radio pioneer error 19
What model number of Pioneer in-dash receiver do you have? You can usually find the model number near one of the corners of the face of the in-dash receiver. What are you attempting to do when you see error 19 displayed? You can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics
My unit goes loses all the settings I done everytime I turn off the car. And it goes into russian language which is a pian in the butt really, because it´s very difficult to find any settings when it´s set to russian.
If your clock and radio stations reset each time you start your vehicle, the in-dash receiver may have an improper connection for the Yellow Wire. The Yellow Wire must have constant power from the vehicle. This means if the vehicle is switched on or switched off, the yellow wire should measure at ~12 volts. The Red Wire is for accessory. You can view the red wire as the receiver’s on/off switch. The red wire should measure ~ 12 volts only when the vehicle is switched on.
---Do not connect the Red Wire and Yellow Wire together. ---
