Awesome video here Mike! I had no idea BN painted units are that rare since I believed there was a fair number of BN painted SD40-2s and SD60Ms still around but I guess not.
Thanks so much! There are a few SD40s and SD60s, but there are fewer and fewer of them every year that are still running around in BN paint now. I think there are less than 10 of the 60Ms system wide.
Love how you catch stuff I was able to catch! I was lucky to find these two paired with a GP60M on a M-EVECUS Honestly the Cascade Green is such a good Scheme im happy they are able to find Cascade Green Locos here, 3009 has been up here in Bellingham and etc for awhile like Years Lmao. (PS: 2092's RS3K sounds Great)
Fantastic video, from Burlington Northern to the BNSF railroad company. Interesting explanations and great trains. Thanks Mike for showing and have a great weekend. Best wishes from Germany. Wolfgang
Great video Mike, had some awesome shots in there! Funny I thought there were a few more than two of them, it was cool to see them get paired up like that!
Awesome catches and video of the old BN scheme. I sure miss seeing all the fallen flag railroads. Enjoyed watching and have a wonderful upcoming weekend.(Steve)
MISTER MIKE ARMSTRONG, THAT WAS THE BEST AWESOKE "NEW" RUclips VIDEO IN THE UNIVERSE ! KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK, FRIEND ! AND HAVE A "POSITIVE" SUMMER SEASONING CELEBRATION ! ! 👍😃👍
I appreciate your dedication to chasing this train. Hopefully someday BNSF will go into "Heritage" mode on some of it's newer orders to give us more BN Cascade Green action.
Fortunately the number of cascade green units out of Everett just increased from 2 to 3 with the arrival of 2096, hopefully they get put on more road trains. Now that 2096 has led LVJEVE for a whole run, it's not out of the question!
CoasterFan2105 I have great news. San Diego's COASTER has replaced both of it's F59PHI locomotives in favor of two GP40-2s and one GP9. They are expected to be delivered from the NRE plant in Mt. Vernon, IL in the 2nd week of January
Huh, and here I thought there were still a lot of former BN engines roaming the rails seeing there's still plenty sporting the Santa Fe Warbonnet and yellow/blue scheme. Seems like BNSF has been making sure to keep up on painting their older engines or just selling them off/retiring them. I'm not entirely sure what's the plausible reason behind it, but it's the best thing I can come up with/think off.
There are a few, but not nearly as many as there were even a couple years ago. Some have been repainted but others have just been pulled from service and placed into storage. Thanks for watching!
Great video Mike. The BN paint scheme is one of my favorite paint schemes that was ever used
Many thanks, Sam! I really like the BN paint scheme too.
Man the legendary BN locos continue on!
That they do!
Love the Burlington Northern!
I do too! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Awesome seeing such a rare pairing take place in 2024! Keep up the great work Mike! 👍❤️😎
Many thanks, I will!
3:02 Prettiest US consist I've seen for a while ! And the landscape with fir trees is perfect too.
Greetings from Paris, FR. 😊
I was very lucky to see it! Thank you and greetings!
No way, it’s this scene at 3:51
It's great to see these 2 paired together. I was lucky to catch 3009 and 2092 facing each other up here in Canada.
0:12 Amazing videos with Burlington Northern. 🙂
Thank you!
Love your videos mike im glad that bnsf still has bm paint on their locomotives
Burlington Northern is my favorite company because my grandpa works there he's gonna retire in about 2 months.

This is why bnsf is my favorite class one it’s not just this railway doesn’t have psr but it has many old locomotives still in fallen flag paint.

Nice shots Mike! I really need to head up to Washington at some point for all the scenery up there!

@@CoasterFan2105 Of course
Awesome video! And inspiring too! Keep it up!

I'm pretty sure it will happen

Those Tri-Tone horns have quite the bark.

What is the status of amtrak 822? Is it stored or has it been taken out of circulation?
Hi Mark. I am waiting Patiently for your Amtrak's long distance train video, how soon will it be airing? Thanks!
Does it go with UP SD70ACes?
Can you make a low frequency inter city train for the next train talk episode.
Can we chase the Boeing local up the scenic sub sometime?
It's too bad they still don't have the flashing amber lights on top like they used to.
There’s also BN 3119
