honestly I think these kinda companies make sure to send good versions of their products to people when they want to have a good rep for their name- it doesn't take much research to find that these can have a lot of issues with little help from huion when trying to fix. They aren't paid to make a good review but a lot of these reviews add that "warm vibe" from these PR packages e.g. the thank you and "gifts" that are free in every set into account when really it should be reviewed strictly from the performance

I'm super late to the party. How well does this tablet hold up in 2019? I have a drawing tablet and I hate it because I'm so used to looking at what I do on paper. I'm not doing a cintiq because that price is insane.
I just wanted to leave this here. I got the same tablet this week, and it came with a screen protector to apply. It's sticky all the way around, not as dull, has that nice papery feeling, and doesn't leave that rainbow gross thing. So the screen protector issue has been solved!
Thanks for the review! It seems like an awesome tablet but I always wonder how do they work in the long run, they might work wonderfully at the start but what if they get slower and less responsible later on? Haha thats just what always concerns me with these reviews ^^
I got this tablet in July when it first came out and have used it every day since then. So far I have had no issues with it! it still runs like the first day I got it. The only thing is the screen protector got scratched up pretty bad and stopped sticking to the tablet, so I got a new one and its exactly like the one it comes with. I am also pretty sure they have made updates to the tablet since it was released. ( the say on the website they have) So I would say they are a great affordable tablet and they will last. I have this same Tablet and I do Art everyday , since I am a commission artist and the pen lasted me about 2 and a half weeks.That's with me using it pretty much every single day for a minimum 4 hours a day.

I was actually checking out the new creation studio by Microsoft today. I'm so glad I saw your video because I think I may get the Huion as a baby step before going all out and getting the computer.
Just buy the small ones! It is cheap. Don't go for the big boys just in case, you are not into digital art or like the stuff. I'm fine with mine, even though, it is small, I can handle it.
I just bought this it cost me 525€ its so worth it. Im so excited about it its amazing. THEY CHANGED THE SCREEN PROTECTOR! It comes with something stuck on 4 corners but it says to prel it off before use and there is another screen protector that you stick on it on the full area. But its hella hard to do it and some tiny pieces of dust got there while i was doing it and now i have some bubbles that can't be pushed out because the dust is doing it ;-; its still good tho! I can see through it well anyways. And you dont even need the glove with the protector because your hand doesn't stick to it. The colors are nice. I love the stand too its a life saver. Also the 2 pens and 8 nibs made me happy. Everything works. Amazing tablet!
I don't know if you'll see this, but I have this tablet and I know why the pen curser seems to not be consistent on one side of the screen vs the middle. It's the angle of the pen. If you put the angle of the pen straight out from the screen, it's usually perfectly on point. So yeah, that's how it works for me! 👍
with all the reviews of Huion Kamvas GT 191, you are like the only artist who didnt remove the screen protector, cuz honestly the screen protector can also save your eyes
My Wacom tablet that I have for 2 years will not work at ALL and I’m thinking of buying and saving up all my money for this tablet. I seen a lot of reviews on this tablet I heard nothing just really good options on this. And I’m definitely going for this one when I have enough I want to upgrade to an on screen that I don’t want to spend 2,000+ $ on so this tablet I think is PERFECT!
i had a paralax issue too but the trick is to hold the pen straight up with the tablet flat on the table. when u draw you put an angle to your wrist(we all do) so if u do it right that issue goes away

I enjoyed this review, I already have this product as my own but not many people talk about the screen protector so I was glad I wasn't the only one. I will say it feels insanely weird if you do take the screen protector off, there is a, hmm a weird kinda sticky ness to the screen once removed, it helps if you wipe of the screen a bit but I haven't been able to really remove it so I just ended up putting mine back on. I bought a GT-156HD in April for $700. The screen stopped working and it no longer shows a power indicator light since mid-week. I am still fighting with Huion to get any service. I went from service support forum, got redirected through 2 email addresses, told to shoot a video showing the problem. After all this, I am still waiting for any support. I hope your experiences with Huion are better than mine.
Reopening the Driver(and the problems that are fixed by it) is a common issue with the Huion drivers. I have that with my own tablet, but it becomes a non-issue after a while.
Great review! Makes me really consider buying it. Especially since you used Sai on it and seeing it work perfectly. And one question, did you get the replacement pens from Huion?
I think fo that rainbow thing you should wipe the side of the screen protector facing the glass and the glass of the screen and put the protector back on maybe that’ll help

How can you transfer drawings into another device for storage? Is there a USB that you can hook up to another device? 4. How much storage does it have? 5. Are there clipping masks, opacity changers, layers, etc? 6. How long does it take to get used to pressure sensitivity, and is it very easy to keep it smooth? 7. Can you animate on this? 8. Any tips or good things to know? ^-^ I'd love some answers, and I'm hoping to boost my art career
From what I saw the only real advantage that Wacom has is that their pen doesn't need power to work, and that doesn't justify a $1,500 price difference to me. So I'll probably get this tablet.
That would be perfect. Except for the part where you need a computer. I don't have one right now and am trying to get my hands on one. I guess I'll stick with my iPad for now TT~TT

In Canada the prices are still "high". The GT Pro 22 is basically a Pro 16 Cintiq. So I would rather have a Cintiq at that point, color accuracy is 10x's better, screen is 10x's better and pen is 10x's better lmfao. Sucks, but it's good that the US gets cheaper alternatives. I'll save up a bit longer for a Cintiq if the price difference is a bit more, waiting won't be too big a deal imo.

You should buy the cheaper graphic tablet first and then upgrade it to a display tablet.

Good review. I think Huion changed the location of the input ports to the left side of the vesa mount because of this video.

the only major problem I would have is the cord plug placement. I bend cords easily so that might not be the best for me

In Canada the prices are still "high". The GT Pro 22 is basically a Pro 16 Cintiq. So I would rather have a Cintiq at that point, color accuracy is 10x's better, screen is 10x's better and pen is 10x's better lmfao.
Sucks, but it's good that the US gets cheaper alternatives. I'll save up a bit longer for a Cintiq if the price difference is a bit more, waiting won't be too big a deal imo.
