Over the course of a year - my favorite artists...by a lot...great story telling....Andrew so good at weaving in an issue that he cares about while not letting it define the song...harmonies and band as tight as tight comes...LOVE THEM!
"At my gate I'll always greet you At my door you're welcome in There can be no transgression As a means to an end On the wind the wolves are howling Open arms are closed in fear Helping hands are clenched in anger Broken hearts beyond repair Everything's so great can't get better, makes me wanna cry That I'll go out howling at the moon tonight There she stands, so tall and mighty With her keen and watchful eye And the heart of a mother Holding out her guiding light It's a hard road to travel Solid rock from end to end The sun, it rises on her brow And sets upon the great expanse Everything's so great can't get better, makes me wanna cry That I'll go out howling at the moon tonight There she stands, so tall and mighty Her gaze facing the east At her back our doors are closing As we grin and bare our teeth On the wind the wolves are howling She cries to draw near Turn around, turn around my darling Oh, the wolves are here Everything's so great can't get better, makes me wanna cry That I'll go out howling at the moon tonight Yeah I'll go out howling at the moon tonight"
First time Emily is playing on the other side of Andrew, but she still looks respectful at him, her stoic poet. These two are always in tune, they understand each other, without touching - just playing. Lovely to see & hear. Every day again!
you come across a song or two where the artist sounds better live than the studio version. But these guys i find the more live version like this are really something.
I love that she doesn't doll up with makeup and is so gorgeous! Also, this band is so under appreciated! Real amazing music
Yea I have a huge crush on Emily
There's nothing more attractive to me than natural beauty.
This is a perfect rendition of the Wolves, so tight, just wish it would go on longer w/another verse
As good as their records are, their live performances are always so much better, and there's not many bands you can say that about.
@Leonard Adrian ?
I love this song. I listen to it all the time. I discovered this song about 2 years ago.
They, Gillian & David and the Avett Brouhers are all in a class by themselves. Music from the heart and nice people.

So rich with emotion. One of their best..
The way Emily looks at him....need that
The mandolin solo put my a smile on my face! :) Great song!
Oh, God, yes. Lovely work by Andrew there.
You should listen to the npr tiny desk concert the second song is the wolves and it’s beautiful
"At my gate I'll always greet you
At my door you're welcome in
There can be no transgression
As a means to an end
On the wind the wolves are howling
Open arms are closed in fear
Helping hands are clenched in anger
Broken hearts beyond repair
Everything's so great can't get better, makes me wanna cry
That I'll go out howling at the moon tonight
There she stands, so tall and mighty
With her keen and watchful eye
And the heart of a mother
Holding out her guiding light
It's a hard road to travel
Solid rock from end to end
The sun, it rises on her brow
And sets upon the great expanse
Everything's so great can't get better, makes me wanna cry
That I'll go out howling at the moon tonight
There she stands, so tall and mighty
Her gaze facing the east
At her back our doors are closing
As we grin and bare our teeth
On the wind the wolves are howling
She cries to draw near
Turn around, turn around my darling
Oh, the wolves are here
Everything's so great can't get better, makes me wanna cry
That I'll go out howling at the moon tonight
Yeah I'll go out howling at the moon tonight"
Thank you
So beautiful :-)

This song is goood broo..
Dang, that’s sweet!
Tight!
Andrew Marlin is such an unappreciated mandolin player. He should be studied how good he is.
Exceptional,,but a GREAT MIX!!!
Nice version.

Be knowledgeable with what you can do. Be careful what you do with it. Care for everything you can. Know you can't always fix it.
On second viewing I suspect the guitar channel is turned off at the board and he’s bleeding in the other mics.
Something like that!
Yeah, I was really disappointed to miss his parts.
Why is everybody sounding better at The Current?
because the recording engineers there are really really good!!
Looks like a great room, too.
Hi
Lead guitar channel is too low. Too bad. He plays great on the album version and I bet here too.
Whoever mixed this needs to fix it. The electric guitar is basically completely out of it..
