Sturry Level Crossing, Kent

Located in between the staggered platforms of Sturry Station west of Canterbury. Both alarms are incredibly quiet for a crossing on such a busy road, and could do with being louder. The way the platforms are staggered supposedly reduces congestion when the barriers are down, although, as can be seen in this video this doesn't work if a long train stops in the station and overhangs this level crossing, which is responsible for a lot of congestion woes along this section of the A28. The signal box still controls the crossing also.
