Having Cody front a centre was the coolest call ever. Melvins songs are fucking HARD to learn on drums and the mofo didn't miss a beat, HAILS!! and only have the one rack tom made it even cooler - I could see the drummer for once!! :D :D

dude i thought i was the only fan who noticed he rented marshall heads and cabs for the tour of australia lol. he always uses those sunn beta lead heads in america lol, he also blew up one of his marshall rented heads in melbourne last wednesday at the festival hall gig... was super hot in the venue so i dont blame it for happening... plus i could hear buzzos amp without the p.a lol.. his cabs were fucking face melting and thats downplaying it still.. i thought it was funny he was using marshall heads especially cause he still had a similar tone to his albums but just wayyyyy thinner... didnt have the phat bottom end that solid state amps give, aswell as that mid scooped saturation, marshalls are just too mid heavy for this, but still he made it sound insane though...
dont forget its all in the hands bro, i know for a fact buzzo could make any amp sound great with his overdrive pedals etc... his hands are the thing that controls all the tone shifts from bright to dark.. its all him... its what pros do, they can use any amp and still get there sound..
I know that these guys absolutely abhor the genre thing, but most especially when someone calls them a grunge band. It’s not definable as to what they’re doing. Experimental seems like the only logical choice for the band. Mudhoney was beforehand .

Dales Drumming is heavy as fk. Coady is a bit more upbeat but Dale is so SLudge in his style. Both good drummers, I admire Dales heavy in the pocket grooves.

I really hate to say this. Dale Crover is a beast. But I think I like Coady better 😮. Both in my top 5 drummers.
