In the end, only Raiden himself was between Earthrealm and total destruction. Defiying the Elder Gods' will, he alone challenged Quan Chi and Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat. Earthrealm's last hope for freedom.
The speedrun community is kinda underground so it's normal that you might not know it before :) During TAS, you can hit anything frame perfect, like all the perfect side steps and counter hits. The TAS is supposed to be the theorical limits you can reach in a game.

@@Peace-Man1964 I agree, Armageddon, despite the wide roster (and Motor Kombat), feels like a downgrade compared with Deadly Alliance or Deception. Just replacing the fatalities with generic ones was too much.
Both Shang Tsung and Quan Chi should have been the final bosses. A tag battle at least or one fight after the next. It would make sense since the name of the game is Deadly Alliance.
Kinda sad that this game only has one fatality for Raiden... Then again, besides Kung Lao and Liu Kang in Shaolin Monks. All characters have had only 2 or 3. At best 4 in the new titles.
Last time I checked, Fujin became the new protector of Earthrealm after Raiden ascended to Elder God in Mortal Kombat 4. So, shouldn't it be Fujin aiding the Earthrealm heroes against the Deadly Alliance?
