Ahh man it's nostalgic I used to play with this my friend roughly 6-7 years back when I was in 9th or 10th I was KUNG LAO He was LIU KANG It costs 5₹ per head for 30 min to play in game parlour. We completed this in 10 days. It was way easier in single player mode than doubles cuz It takes double life of enemy per damage by us in singles mode .whereas in doubles damage by enemy to us increase to double and by us it was decreased to half. Our health considerably decreases specially when shao spins with his hammer . In doubles it was near impossible to defeat khan . But there was trick in doubles mode I remember (one senior gamer bhaiya told us) that by some combination when shao was near us liu kang (only liu kang can do this) holds him down then at same time another player should attack to lower as much life as possible because liu kang holds him for only little moment. Then again repeat until whole life of shao khan ends .

I remember finishing the game and unlocking Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but I literally can't remember fighting the final bosses. I will never know if I finished the game with them or not and in what difficulty. And if I wanted to play it now I can't because I have PS3 and not PS2
