I am a voucher for the Manticore - 238 silver coins and 3 gold rings since March and no permissions. It has separated iron from coins better than the Equinox 800 and is better at reducing EMI. Yes, it falses on deep nails but you know the sound after some practice. Disclaimer: 111 of the silver coins are from a virgin honey hole in a little known park but the rest are from previous fields. No special settings either. The thing is a beast!
I'm with you on the 5 tone all region. It sounds funky. My husband is looking forward to the Manticore update. Hopefully XP gets their update figured out.
Thanks for the info buddy.Ive been looking at the Deus 2 and the Manticore but I'll wait untill they both get everything sorted out on till then I'll keep swinging my Nox 800 and my Spectra V3I. p.s. I sure wish Whites was still around I think they would put them all to shame
Thanks for the fun tip, I've just adjusted mine & why not right lol. Do you have any suggestions on what earbuds to pair with a bluetooth 5.2 transmitter using the manticore? xx
You tired Rocky out man! If Minelab fixes its iron issue, I'd consider the Manticore. The last update XP did, (1.1) really did nothing to help in real heavy iron on the cellars I hunt, kinda disappointing. I ran it all day yesterday in General, sensitive and sensitive FT, many, many adjustments. Meh. I think it will be seen as an improvement for park, field and coins guys however. So ya, let's see what Minelab does with its update ..... it is a cool machine.
Bummer I was hoping that Sensitive full tones would be the answer from what I'm seeing but perhaps not. I haven't tried it yet. Been in General and Deep HC. The IDs are different thats one thing I can confirm.
@@MentalMetal Keep in mind that my spots are all 1700s and the nails have been in the ground much longer than most guys swing over and our soil in more harsh. The older the iron, the bigger the halo. Guys down South running 1800s sites in neutral soil will have a better outcome. So, it really just depends on where you live.

Sorry Debbie, I have not experimented around with any external bluetooth transmitter.
