2024 Subaru Brat Unveiled! | The Most Powerful Pickup?!
------------
Recently, the CEO of Subaru made a surprising announcement that has shaken up the automotive industry - a new pickup truck with a price tag of just $10,000. This decision has changed the game completely, causing competitors to hurry to keep up.
While some may see this as a budget-friendly choice, it is clear that Subaru has once again shown their engineering skills by designing a truck that is not only inexpensive but also incredibly useful and practical. The new Brat model is expected to take over the market, standing out as a one-of-a-kind and unmatched option in its category.

Who decides what is affordable! If it's not less than 40k, it's not affordable in my book!
Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's interesting to see everyone's different definitions of affordability.
I just wish Subaru would drop the CVT transmission. They sound like a motorboat taking off.
Improved fuel efficiency.
Smoother driving experience.
Space and weight savings.
Adaptability.
Better acceleration at low speeds.
And you just want to drop all of those benefits because of the sound?
@@Richard-cl6kt I don't agree with any of your 5 points except "space and weight savings" - whoopee 🙄🙄
@@richardb.5691
But these are not my points but the general stuff that's being said about the CVT transmission :)
So you are saying, you just don't like it, despite those advantages it offers. Which is fine.
And i guess these points are also an comparison to an manual transmission as well, not just the classic automatic transmission.
@Richard-cl6kt , they are delicate, require way more maintenance and can't handle heavy loads. Exactly what you don't want in a work or performance vehicle.
I totally get where you're coming from, the CVT transmission can be quite noisy.
It's not real
I appreciate your feedback, thank you!
Does anyone have any real evidence on the actual production of the Subaru Baja 2nd generation?? The Hyundia Santa Cruz is basically a 2ndgen Subaru Baja and the Santa Cruz XRT model is basically a Wilderness Edition. So if you really want a brand new Subaru Baja then go buy the Hyndia Santa Cruz with a 100,000-mile warranty. The Santa Cruz XRT has 281HP 2.5l turbocharged 4-cylinder, 8-speed automatic transmission (not a CVT), 5000lb towing capacity, HTRAC-AWD and the even have a bed fence to extend the bed with rear gate open just like the Baja.
Thanks for sharing this comparison between the Subaru Baja and the Hyundai Santa Cruz! It's fascinating to see the similarities.
I owned a 1979 Brat in high school. Both useless and fun all rolled in to one. And those seats in the bed....🤣
Thanks for sharing your experience with the 1979 Brat, it's always awesome to hear about the nostalgia of high school rides!
...Give us a turbo boxer, 6 speed manual, off road variant and I'm all in. Make it CVT only and I'll keep driving my Ridgeline. C'mon Subaru, there are a bunch of us out there that remember Subaru's rally dominance and can figure out what to do with that third pedal. We're known as enthusiasts and prefer to shift for ourselves...
It's great to see your passion for the turbo boxer and manual transmission combo! Subaru enthusiasts unite!
For the love of GOD just put a Toyota engine in ALL Subaru's and they will be the best selling AWD vehicles EVER.
That would be a game-changer for Subaru!
A 2 door PHEV would be pretty cool. Subaru can bring back the Baja for the 4 door fans.
That would definitely be an interesting addition to Subaru's lineup!
I wanted to get a Forrester so bad but I'm older and all that comes to mind when I think think of Subarus is RUST and lots of it! Too bad because they are pretty reliable vehicles. Went with a trusty Toyota Cross. My 1999 RAV4 finally is too costly to maintain. (After 25 years) Gonna miss her but she served me well! ❤
It's always tough saying goodbye to a reliable car after so many years of service. Your RAV4 sounds like it was a true companion on the road!
@@GearheadGlam Yes She Was! But it's 2024 and when I go to yhe dealership for service, majority of the technicians have never seen a cassette player! 🤗 Time to say goodbye.😪
@@mofreedom2913 ♥
subaru previously has said 10k then 8k, when gm and ford went to 8k. ....ford later went to 5k. lets see who wins
It's definitely interesting to see how these companies are adjusting their prices.
Why are videos like this even allowed to stay up on youtube. This is all lies. I wish subaru would announce the return of the baja or brat but both have yet to happen... Stop with the clickbait lies.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and concerns about the content. I'll strive to create more authentic and engaging videos.
@@GearheadGlam How about not creating videos that are clearly lies? Subaru has not unveiled or even hinted at a new Brat.
@@doncoroleone7815
I apologize Sir but it is a prototype at the moment.
@@doncoroleone7815And feel free to watch my other videos as well and share your thoughts there too good or bad it doesn't matter. Thanks so much.
@@GearheadGlam I don't watch trash from liars.
Mavericks are more.capable than you think. I have had one since they launched (got mine October 21) i have owned subarus, trucks, awd, 4wd, little bit of everything and my maverick is to date the best thing I have ever driven in the snow and ice up here in Maine plus it is pretty snappy right off the factory floor with the ecoboost engine. People have modified them it point into drag trucks and even taken then to full blow race track ready. The "sport version" is coming for 25 model year from what ibhave seen and heard and they have slapped a temor version out already with the 4wd lockers from the broncos.
I do fully expect to see more compact trucks from more companies they would be dumb not to even ford considered do the ranchero as a 2 door version of the maverick.
Thank you for sharing your insights on the Maverick's capabilities. It's great to hear about your positive experience with it.
Was thinking they would bring the Baja and bratt back, Baja as a 4 door based of the out back and the bratt off the crosstrek
That would be a cool concept for Subaru to explore!
Hopefully they get the crazy rust under control. A few harsh winters eat subaru’s right up.
Rust can be a real pain for car owners, especially in harsh winter conditions.
Waiting... Will get one... nice
The suspense is killing me too! Hang in there!
it was an unfortunate name then as it is now.
I appreciate your feedback!
Most powerful lol
Thanks for watching!
Cvt transmission NOPE
Thanks for sharing your opinion!
2024 Brat, but there’s nothing about this on their future car on the Subaru website
Only the 25 forester
