Great job side dressing Carl
Nice looking white dodge truck Carl
Great job rolling beans Carl
Great video Carl
That a nice new rig Carl. I really like the simplicity.
That’s what I like the most about it 👍
I have a similar setup on my Teryx, but I’m spraying poison oak.
I bought a used lawn sprayer sprayer setup very similar to your version. It had boom brackets designed for a small 4 wheeler that retro fit on my polaris end gate. Hand gun is great for spot spray plus fence rows.
I love it 👍
Picking bales on my uncles homestead in east NE. You could tell by the weight, 6o lbs was about right, if they were baled just a little wet 90 lbs. Pure murder. I sure enjoy your channel. Paul
Yeah that’s how I can tell as well. It’s pretty obvious when they are a little wet. Thanks for watching!
My '49 Chevy started exactly the same way.
Hey Carl are you doing a precision planting trial in your garden?? Very colorful ☺️ love your channel. Your friend from Canada 🇨🇦
😂😂 good eye
My brother is saying some words. LMFAO
Why’s that? 😂
Those B & C cummins were tough engines. A couple years ago I pulled the cam and and front gear housing out of a 5.9 B in a honey wagon for a guy. The pin of death came out of it @13,000 hours and busted a big chunk out of the front gear housing. It had a bunch of glitter in the pan and all the rods mains and cam bearings had scratches in them cuz he drove it home and that pin was pinched between the cam gear and the housing so it put a bunch of metal in the engine. We found a gear housing for $80 and red loctited a new gear housing dowel in and he changed oil in it four or five times and it's been going strong ever since.
I really should investigate the killer dowel pin on this truck before it’s too late. That’s crazy that it just kept on ticking after all that damage though. Good engines!
Trade 2007 Freightliner Columbia both
Not a fan of the Columbia or Cascadia
Is that bean roll b roll?
Haha yes it is!! 😂
What Trans did they put in it? Nv4500?
Nope it’s got the Getrag 360. Just built from all new parts.
I'll ask the obvious question: IF the one you now want to sell is still that good, why did you need another one? LOL
Because the newer one is better. Simpler engine, new transmission, less rust. Just because it’s an upgrade doesn’t mean the old truck is a bad truck. 😂
@@dodgebrothersfarmandranch9206 just messin' with ya--I get it!
When do you roll the beans? After they pop up?
We roll them right behind the planter.
It really warmed my heart seeing you making memories with your children. Seeing your daughter drive, made me think of when I was her age driving a little John Deere tractor with my Dad unloading fence posts off of the trailer. Your truck is definitely worth what you are asking
Thanks! Memories get more valuable as time goes by.
I've changed many a cab corner as well as rocker panels in my day... working in rust are good times lol that's a good looking truck 👍 good to see u moving around looking normal from ur surgery this planting season... God bless
Want to do the cab corner and rocker on this truck?
@@dodgebrothersfarmandranch9206 I wish I could... unfortunately I've not been able to work in the body shop last several years due to my health... that's why I've got into making pocket knives and fighting to do that truthfully....even tho tearing into something rusty is a dirty job I sure do miss it
The blue truck was a good truck but this white dodge with true 4 doors and a manual is a truck that I hope you have for a very long time. Sounds great too
Yeah I’m hoping to have it for many years. I have to take care of the body though. Midwest winters are death on truck cabs and beds.
Couple of nice dodge’s.
Good content. 👍
Beautiful
That cattle pusher is what we call a Bullbar, or in Australia they call them a Roo bar ( as in Kangaroo ).
You guys only have to run into bulls? 😂
Do square bales combust like round bales??
They can but it’s less common. Small square bales can breathe more than round bales.
that truck is 20 plus years old and not worth 10,000,
That’s your opinion. Kelley blue book says it’s worth between 9,700 and 12,000
If it's got a Cummins it's gotta be good 👍
With the older ones for sure 👍🤔
I think you found a great farm truck.
I think so too
