We'e wondering what did you think of the ending now that you know there is one? You could probably watch it more quickly on youtube if you still haven't seen it.

It is a process that takes about 10 years, and if you fail once, the risk of losing both your youth and a huge amount of money is very high. Kim Si-ik must be especially heartbroken as he lost all the benefits he would have enjoyed by coming first in the exam for the first time in 20 years.
They didn’t see the cameo with one of IU’s best friends in real life. I recommend ‘My Mister’ too. It’s more serious but one of the best kdramas ever made.

I read about the viki thing, still, if I simply just be honest, can't help it, indeed I do want to see the reaction for end credit, simply curious to see reactions for "him" 😅 but it's all fine.... it's not like "I really, really want to see so you have to watch and react" or something. Just finished watching. For those comparing this show to Goblin and claiming it is superior. I fel it is not. I want to clarify that I’m speaking generally, not about anyone specifically or you guys, as many in the comments are making such claims (there were many in ep 1 reaction). I’m sorry, but I find those claims unconvincing. Objectively, when it comes to the cast, their chemistry, comic timing, and overall dynamics, Goblin was exceptional (I don’t mean del luna cast was bad or anything, tbh comparison was not needed, so I'm only writing this since it was made and somebody told me to watch the whole thing and then decide, maybe they hyped it too much and it didn’t seem to meet that hype, I should've just went it blind). In this show, while the leads share good platonic chemistry, their romantic chemistry feels lacking. Both actors are talented, but their connection as romantic leads doesn’t feel as natural (and I don’t mean sexual chemistry). The one area where Hotel Del Luna scores higher than Goblin is world-building-it was nearly perfect in Del Luna, whereas Goblin’s world-building was occasionally confusing. However, the emotional depth and natural chemistry in Goblin made it far more engaging and relatable. While Del Luna has emotional moments, many-including myself and others based on reviews I’ve read online-struggled to connect to the show on an emotional level (even i felt really bad for chan seong, but my heart didn't break as much as when Go-eun's character died granted the situation was different and portrayed differently). Overall, I believe the claims about Hotel Del Luna being better than Goblin don’t hold up when considering these factors.

@@YaBoyRockleeAsianReactions yup, it depends on taste. from an objective pov, kim eun suk (goblin writer) is the best kdrama writer but i subjectively cannot get past ep 8 of her dramas, in 25 years of watching kdramas, i tried very hard esp when i run out of things to watch. however, i can sit through the most hated hong sisters (hotel del luna writers) drama without any problem. for me, the writing styles are polar opposites, and goblin and hotel del luna have such dissimilar themes and impact. hdl for me is a progression of hong sisters metaphorical writing style, from their wacky play on words to now very serious play on situations. i hope you can watch an old classic, the greatest love, which is a drama founded on nothing but sillly (but awesome) metaphors so you can see the maturity of their writing here. kim eun sook, i simply do not connect. i dont find her dramas bad at all esp since she always has the backing of a huge budget, but i could not grasp whatever she is trying to say. her assistant writers, though, who are now independent writers, i like a lot.

That's exactly right. Not every Kdrama is a suggested first. Cdramas are worst. Some of the best are 50, 70, 80+ episodes for 1 season. They are no joke.

“Better” is an opinion generally speaking.
I think when people say it it’s better than goblin, they mean they like it more than goblin.
