but i just feel like the argument of "he's punishing those who killed" is flawed too because they're not in their right state of mind when they first do it. they lack control. and he's holding a personal grudge from the chairman who infected his wife. he's also very selfish, he just happens to have enough power to protect his own. The nature of this show is sensitive because they return to being humans which is why killing them is not the go-to situation because you will be killing someone who has a potential of being cured

I don't get something. Why is adorkable still defending the dad? It has already been proven that the dad was a serial killer by this episode. He collected souvenirs of all his victims(fingernails) and it was found in his basement. Moo-Jin also discovered the killings first through his videotape of the basement but kept quiet about it. There's no doubt he was a killer, he even killed the mom as well . We already know all this info from the first 2/3 episodes. All the bodies except 1 (including the mum) were found under a hill in their village . Where is the confusion and doubt coming from ? 🤔

The crackhead mentality analogy was very A+. I don't think I would've thought or phrased it that way but it makes sense! Also since South Korea is so strict about drugs and drug use, the writers of dramas (from my experience) tend to demonize or exaggerate (to unrealistic/ "reefer madness" proportions) the effects of drugs so the fact that the infected somewhat are reminiscent of druggie behavior and/or addiction is interesting to me. Maybe that's what makes these particular zombies interesting? They aren't just totally mindless and ravenous but they come back to themselves and have that knowledge, memory, hunger/thirst, and itch.

Munyeong didn't go back into the hospital to give that father the knife so he can kill himself. You'll find out later in the series who gave him the knife. But she went back in there so she could give the little girl a copy of her book and help her overcome the trauma she just experienced.
