The CBT concept being changed is actually a full circle moment as she revealed in her 2020 interview with Zane Lowe that the album was almost titled ”Free Woman” and the album was insipired by the thought of fame being a prison.
Guys shes a mastermind..she tuned down the enigma show TO LET JAZZ AND PIANO SHINE! I think it was her strategy to be perceived as a SINGER not a popstar.
Disease is sounding like its shaping up to be a very dark and industrial era, perhaps some of the concepts and ideas from Enigma and original Chromatica would find its way into LG7.
I loved this show. Piano and jazz one was amazing too. I went to both separately in 2019. What a year. Always likes how the song Enigma references it and also says “we could be jokers” lol. Edit: Don’t forget she was playing a lot of Bayonetta at this time and was heavily inspired by it. She also was inspired by Hatsune Miku lol.

She needs to work with more women creative directors, because the men will literally talk her out of her original ideas and make her do something so cheap terrible
It feels like gaga’s been planning an edgy return 4EVER by now. Joanne tour was kinda edgy but didn’t commit 2 it. Enigma was edgy but didn’t fall through. It’s like gaga’s been presenting as sweeter & conventionally appropriate 4 a while. But now is the time !! It has 2 !! She’s been holding out the energy 4 almost a decade so she can pour all the edge in this era 🫢
Enigma felt so disjointed and underwhelming. It absolutely wasn't Vegas or Gaga worthy. I mean she was amazing don't get me wrong (we had a great time!) but after that I saw Katy's and that production was EXPENSIVE and had a clear story and it was structured.
I saw both shows and honestly hated The Enigma show. I thought it was just very corny. But The Jazz and Piano one was amazing. Her talent really shines when she leaves all the bs gimmicks behind.

@@Playlist_Pop that was one of the best nights of my life. It was New Year’s Eve. So I got to see Gaga at regular time at 8 and at 10 I ran to the Planet Hollywood to see Xtina. That really was one for the books

I loved the Enigma residency. My sole issue with it is the scripting wasn't that great; effective but not great.

Enigma was too colorful. The neon colored are not good looking at all. Jazz and piano was in fact better. It was really a growth in Gaga's career.
