Enjoyed Thread! I thought it was really helpful information about the differnet types and why you might or might not want. Really great deamview when you were done!
I wish you had all the extra stuff turned off for this video and only had the backlight and the glide livelys going. I just got mine today and have a rough set up going...but in your demo it didn't look like the glide livelys were capable of displaying different colors. In other words if the backlight behind the TV is showing blue on the left and red on the right will the glide lively's display those colors correctly or will it just choose one of those two colors... I'm not at home right now to be able to test that but that's my concern.
I thought I had another video on the Glide Lively? Anyway, when u set up and link the backlight and the Glide Lively in the dream view section of the app in the options there's an place to choose 5 or 6 different numbers from a diagram to link to each 1 of the 2 sections. So they display a room with numbers all over. Wherever you put your Glide Lively is what numbers you want. Basically choosing the area of the TV the Livelys will work from. Like if u look at mine in the video I have mine sett to 55566 on left and 9991010 on the right (may not be the exact #s from diagram.) so they illuminate the color that they should from the screen. The correct area for correct color..
Then as for the colors, also in the app you can choose to do solid segment color so each 1 only illuminates 1 color or you can set them to do multiple colors so they split up the colors to multiples on each segment.... Hope all that makes sense! You should understand what I'm saying when you start to set it up. Let me know if u have any more questions.
Right for whatever reason I can't pick a 2nd set of numbers. I must be doing something wrong. It will only let me choose the right or left ..top or bottom...Ill try again looking through the set up. Thanks for the reply tho! Govee support is awful. I sent an email on the 28th of Nov and left a VM last week...nothing.
@@threadchemistryOk yeah...still not working. I go to movie watching dream mode, controlled device shows the Lively, I click on area setting and it shows ONE light bar that I can choose to populate with numbers from the diagram of the room. I absolutely cannot choose two different sides of the TV. I'm on Android if that matters ...
Not with these, the Glide Livelys. But they have other wall lights. I think they're called just Govee Wall Lights, which you can extend and even have corners. Almost the exact same thing but different. If that makes sense. Look those up and you should see what I mean.
I guess I'm the only person who uses dreamview for their pc monitor because I have scoured the internet for info on whether these work with the desktop app or not. I'm just gonna throw in the towel and say "or not." I have the dreamview T1 kit setup on my living room tv. But in my game room I have 2 light bars, dreamview rgb strip and glide livelys around the edge of my ceiling. I thought it would be sick to sync the lively lights with dreamview, and even though people claim its compatible, I'm realizing they're likely talking about with a tv, not the desktop app.
You shouldn't have any problem doing this but have you thought about their new box? It's a lot like hues. I'm not 100% about all of it but I think it's used for rxactly what you're doing. I could be way off but you might want to look into that.
@@threadchemistry They work with wifi and show up on the app on my phone and on the desktop, but I only have the basic "solid, scene, music and DIY" options. Nothing for dreamview. LAN is enabled and everything. They're just not available for dreamview. And no, I haven't really done much light shopping in the past year since, other than this minor issue, I'm pretty satisfied with my setup. But I'll check it out!
@@evansingh1014 So I typically only have the immersion kit ON with the TV, which I have set to Bar Segment, so I'm not sure why I didn't ever think of that. It's the same thing I guess it just never really clicked until now. So thanks for that. Haha. Good call man! Appreciate it.
Good job bro, good energy!
Thanks man

Thank you!! All about the details and product info for you and everyone else!! ))

Thanks so much!! It's so cool isn't it!?
Thank you. awesome
Haha. You're welcome
Definitely getting a second pair of the glide lively lights.. The Dreamview most certainly makes the show!!! hhahah
Its such a DREAM!! 😁
Rock Chalk!!
Love it!! And they're killing it this season so far in bball! Men's and women's! Glad to have u on the team!! ))
what's the overall length of the 3 segments with wire termination and end caps installed?
The 3 segments are right about 45" long. I'm not sure what you mean by write termination.
My concern is the cable lenght, what is the maximum distance possible between two pairs?
The distance in the video this video is right about 10 feet. You could prolly get another 5 so about 15 feet max. It is a downfall.
@@threadchemistry Thanks 🙏🏾
You bet buddy

@@GetFitReedman it's bc you split the 6 colors from the diagram. 3 and 3. If that's what you mean
Can I use more than 3 segments per side?

What is the size of each bar
When you say each bar, are you referring to the stand alone light bars? Or each individual connection piece in the segments?
@@threadchemistry each individual
There is a new Envisual backlight kit with dual tv cameras
It is the Envisual T2. I will link it in the description.
Are you running yours in full mode instead of part?
Are you referring to the bars? What do you mean by full mode?
@@threadchemistry When you're in dreamview you set it to part and not all right? I figured you were doing it for the demo.
Oh you mean Part or All... I have mine set to All
Set it to part, trust me. In all it makes everything one solid color. Your zones are set right to make it pop son.

Tv is mounted way too high
Yea bc only you know where I should mount my TV in my home as well as everyone else right. Clown.
