Would LOVE to see you do a whole video dedicated to products that adhere well to the skin. It’s such an important quality and not enough people talk about it.
These are indeed very good videos and I think we all appreciate the length of time you invested in it. Could I possibly suggest a time stamp due to the number of products/length?
The Danessa Myricks Balm Contour in 01 leans very olive and is the perfect shade for my pale warm/neutral olive skin! A real recommendation for anybody with a similar undertone 😊 And the Revolution Cream Bronzer in Medium does as well and works well when I am more tanned!
@@jacquelinedaniels87 Ohh that's a shame! I don't feel that the Danessa Myricks does that for me, but I do always wear quite a dewy, light to medium base (Purito Cica BB cream most days). I do kind of feel like it fades a little throughout the day, but I don't mind that actually, since it does so in a natural way on me.
I have both the DM Balm Contour 1 and Revolution in Medium! I’m neutral olive. I also like the Half Caked bronzer in the shade Heatwaves and the new Milk Makeup Sculpt Stick in Toasted
I love these videos, they save me literally so much money so thank you! I wish brands would do tester/travel sizes more, so you can actually try it first before spending all your money on something that doesn't work for you. Are you going to do the K beauty declutter? Really looking foward to that one!
Thank you for describing the bronzers in such detail. I have spent quite a bit of money on bronzers. I have yet to find a matte bronzer that I absolutely love. I will look for silicone in the ingredients list. I like the Hourglass bronzer, but that one has a luminous property to it. I also have some fine hairs around my hair line. I don’t like shaving them because I have super sensitive skin.
Just stumbled across this as I'm thinking of dipping my toes into the world of bronzer after an entire life of avoiding it. And you are a makeup clairvoyant as Glossier have just released their cloud paint in bronzer form, which I am excited to try as I love the cloud paint formula. Although I think it's only designed for use on the cheek so not sure how easily it will blend on the rest of the face.
So appreciate these reviews! As someone who has a tough time finding yellow toned bronzers that don’t go orange on my super fair yellow/golden but cool skin (Nars laguna was good until my skin went full shade lighter with faithful sunscreen usage), this helped me build up a list of products to try, so thank you! 😊
I totally agree about the Danessa Myricks cream bronzer. I love the formula but they need more shades. I make the Rose Inc bronzer work because I adore the formula but the shade is not ideal. I don't get why brands can't introduce more neutral to cool shades! I love this video idea! - Britta
Soooo helpful!!! Thank you! My favorite bronzer at the moment is Bobbie Brown Antigua… cannot put it down. But I am very tempted to buy the Gucci one, sounds exactly like what I am looking for.
Purchased the MBM skin enhancer during this past Sephora sale. I love it. It’s hard to explain the look of it. It looks so natural, but still noticeable. It literally looks like your skin is naturally bronzed. I think it can definitely be built up as well. I like a more natural makeup look though so what I may like someone else may not. Everyone’s style is different. I also bought the brush he uses with it and it is super soft and applies the product beautifully. Yes, it was expensive, so I would def wait for a sale. Thanks for the video, Amanda!! 💕💕
Thanks for reviewing them and providing your insight. But is there any chance that you could do timestamps, please? So much useful information but hard to go back to the product that you're looking for....
Hi Amanda, new subscriber here! I really like this type of videos ! I've watched all your series till ' now! Bronzer for fair-light skins can be very tricky ! I tend towards powder matte ones , i feel they blend better and have nicer shades ! 😊 I can't wait to see the highlighter ones !
Such an informative and satisfying video🤤 Also I was intrigued by the Clinique sunkissed gel appearance and I‘d love to see a more in depth video of how you use it😁
Love your content Amanda! I sincerely look forward to your vids and really appreciate the detail and honesty. Thanks to you, I’ve been heavily experimenting with and loving cream shadows and have fallen IN LOVE with the P.F Essence of healthy. Thank You! 🤗😘
😲 the shock! (😉), Danessa myricks nutcracker is one of my all time favorite makeup products, I loooove love love the formula and how it looks on the skin, I'm on my fourth one I think...I like to use it as "blontour"; apply a generous amount in a stripe along my cheek contour area and then blend up and into my hairline and temple and on to my cheek as well, then I will usually use something like CT pinkgasm, or whatever else I'm feeling that will still kind of let show thru. I think the makeup by Mario bronzer has to be my one-a-year powder bronzer as soon as it's back in stock at Sephora, I had been trying to decide and I think I have thank youuuu 😊💜😊💜
Thank you for this!!!! I know you don’t need ANOTHER bronzer but Chantecaille’s Real Bronze in either color, Sirena or Goa, is the best bronzer I’ve ever used, powder or cream. I think you’d really love the formula. Sirena is for a more golden tan and Goa is for those who have a ruddier note to their tan.
Excuse me as I go dunk my face in bronzer. Also the PF Butter bronzer comes in a lil baby travel size at Target and sometimes Walgreens. I will 100% be purchasing that next time I need a replacement. And the lil bb Milani Luminoso too! I hate the bulky packaging of those two products lol
My MOB refillable compact has a frame that pulls up, and I insert the refill and snap the component closed. That holds it in so it's not coming out constantly. Perhaps the packaging has changed. 🤷♀️ Li6ve this comparison of all the bronzers. As someone who only wears the lightest shade, I lovea video like this.
Have you tried the Saie one in fair bronze? I’ve been curious about it. The Charlotte Tilbury one has been on my list to try. Currently using the Westman atelier one.
I feel like I'm close to Amanda's skin tone and fair bronze was a little to fair for me. Kinda just made my face look dirty. I was to try the light bronze, looks a bit more peachy
I'm light, neutral olive and the Nars Cream Bronzer (02) and Powder Bronzer (Laguna) are literally the only bronzers that look realistic and pretty on me. If they discontinue them, I'll be screwed.. no one does bronzer for us olive-skinned people, quite like Nars... Forever love! 😊🤎🤎🤎🤎
Can you please show how you use the color fix paints on your complexion? I’ve been so curious about these products for blush/bronzer but am terrified to over do it!
Are you still looking for an alternative to the Dior Nail Glow? Was going to recommend Zoya Naked Manicure Perfector, specifically the lavender one. Even jelly polish can sometimes be too opaque, but this is nice and transparent with a healthy color. They’ve got a pink too, if you prefer.
I love these long videos. I have nothing to critique, maybe you could show your face using your favorites, or insert an older video with full face with that showcases your favorite bronzers. BTW I started watching you because of your love of cream!!!
Hi i first bought the chanel le bronze but i just wasn’t able to take to it however i bought the charlotte Tilbury and for me it was perfect i bought the fair shade and it was perfect ! i also bought the contour wand and yes i love that one too along with the powder bronzer too all her bronzers have worked well for me being pale skined !
Thank you so much for this video. It's such a helpful resource! I'm forever on The Quest For The Perfect Pinky Bronzer, cream edition. In all of your market research and in building your product library, can you think of a bronzer that is similar to the color of the Gucci powder, but of a cream (or even liquid) formula? Any suggestions would be appreciated.❤❤❤
You might try looking at some of the more bronze-y leaning blushes. I do best myself with something that won’t pull orange, and blushes will often have a better undertone for my skin.
I think the gucci is great for the cool toned fair skinned gals! I’m not sure if I’ve come across a true pink toned one but the Westman Atelier in Biscuit or the Make up by Mario light med are really nice colors on me. I also really like the cream portion of the Patrick Ta that Amanda just tossed haha
I use the Patrick Ta She’s so LA blush duo as a bronzer and it works really well for me. For fair skin like mine it leans slightly dark, but it’s easy to use a light hand with both formulas
AMANDA! There is nothing wrong with a fuzzy face BUT my makeup goes on like a dream after i shave my face. Its so satisfying and makes your face feel soooo soft
You have to try the rms buriti bronzer- I lovvvve this one, it’s such a nice bronzer, but you really have to find a good brush to use it with! Also I’m surprised that I didn’t find the shade and illuminate bronzer from Tom Ford in your video- really pricey, but I love it! Unfortunately I really don’t like the “new” Chanel tan de soleil bronzer with the coconut oil either. It does not stick to my face and let’s me break out sometimes and it really cracks my foundation underneath after some time. But luckily I have 2 backups of the old OG tan de soleil bronzer and this formula was something else! They really ruined the bronzer with the new formulation! :-( And did you tried out the nudestix bronzer? They are really good too! I love them, so easy to blend! Love your videos! Best wishes from Germany ❤
The mini comparisons are super helpful. It’s hard for me to tell which products are similar without seeing them in person, so your insight is really useful.
Fine grit sandpaper from a hardware store. Lightly sand the surface of anything that goes hardpan. Product pan falling out of the case? A wee dab of Super glue or double-sided tape.
Hi!! Love your videos! Question: Have you tried the makeup by mario softsculpt stick?? I am very curious about your review of it. I wanted to love the fenty matchstix but they were too dry and hard to work with imo
i love the NARS Laguna cream bronzer shade, and I was so excited when it came out because I liked the shade in the powder but I didn't want the sparkle and I'd heard bad reviews about the matte version. BUT...unfortunately, the formula of the cream is like kinda inconsistent? If I hold my mouth right and the stars align I can get a perfect blend, but most days its a real challenge. Which makes me sad :(
My perfect bronzer is Kevin Aucoin’s neo bronzer in the lightest shade. It’s a bit of a blonzer colour but not as pink as the MOB beauty or the Jones Road and super finely milled so it never looks streaky.
I'm surprised no hoola? It's just such an o.g. Hoola and butter bronzer are probably the only I've ever repurchased, as cool toned I despise orange bronzers and always want something more Cool toned for a bronzer/contour colour
I want to buy this nail polish so much, but i cant find it anywhere in France. Does somebody has a good alternative for it (to brighten/conceal the nails)? Thank you so much !
I have to totally disagree with the Chanel bronzer and the Charlotte bronzer. The Chanel bronzer is not patchy. It isn’t chunky it blends beautifully. It looks so natural while the Charlotte bronzer is very dry and is patchy so it’s very interesting that the review would be the opposite. However, that is just not the case.

wow I can completely relate too! Shaving can be so irritating for me. The makeup by mario one might be good to look into!

Yes! I think a video on using foundation as bronzer/ contour would be extremely interesting.😊

Ps: yes!! I would love to see an affordable cream bronzer video as well as maybe a self-tan vid? I have dry skin and can’t find good vids for that.
I would love a video on the natural glowy nail polishes once you’ve tried a few!
Watching long video of yours is a kind of therapeutic for me. ❤
Once you’re done with your declutters, I would love to see you do some tournaments a la Julia Adams!
The super long videos from you are my favorites

Been waiting for this video 😻
As well with the wet n wild contour stick. You didnt say the shade. I watched this to get a better idea of shades because our skin tones are similar
What shade was the merit bronze balm? I just ordered one and wasnt sure about the shade so that's why I watched this!
Is the Mario enhancer similar to the ferry one
Fenty
the makeup by mario feels a little more "whipped" it is interesting- I think the fenty is just a touch less balmy. I prefer fenty
oh hell yes I needed this
loveeee you thank you

Can you pls try The Estee lauder hydra rescue foundation
Yes I have tried that one! its really nice
21:02 Suggestion, leave the lids out of the frame. Swatch within the frame. Leave the products in the frame, not partial.
Use the Chanel as a cream shadow bc it's expensive!!
heart of engagement
