Yes, yes, yes, never stop having high standards and thorough reviews, it's the main reason why I watch and trust you! Please continue only recommending affordable products when they meet your standards, not when they're simply "good, for a drugstore product."
Same, I have a slight olive undertone, and I reckon maybe somehow the green/yellow cast of the skin somehow neutralises the red somehow. But in general red is quite a universal colour, especially when sheered out. Not every shade of red for everyone, but in general it's a great tone for most.
ALSO here's my customary warning for the warm-toned/yellow-toned girls looking for a true orange blush: that Cha Cha TInt has a VERY RED undertone and will look CORAL ON YOU, not ORANGE. Go for an orange with a yellow undertone like Milk Makeup Lip & Cheek Stick in Swerve, or the Phytosurgence Blush Bomb in Molten.
I really like the idea of a video going over bad/disappointed dupe videos. That could be fun. I love the way you approach affordable makeup and don't recommend it just because its affordable. I hear a lot of people say... Its good for the price, to me that is still a waste of money when there are better formulas out there. I would really like to hear about the things that you weren't too crazy about tho.
These are for my reference or for anyone who wants to have a look at certain products. I haven't completed the list, but will come back to it! I love your critiques and declutters. Thank you ❤I think a “Don’t get Duped” video would be welcome. If you could swing it before the Sephora Sale, it would be brilliant. I do find it’s better to buy an excellent formula rather than a poor one is better. Searching for a bargain can be so expensive.
I second the idea in the bad hyped up products. Most of the ELF products I have tried over the year are OK. I think their makeup brushes and tools are good quality for the price and work in a pinch but their makeup products simply don’t work for me. I’m always tempted to try them but honestly I think Milani and L’Oréal have consistently good makeup at the drugstore.
I think the same. I have for example the famous Halo Glow and it emphasises every pore even trying different skin prep and foundations underneath… Don’t get the hype…
That’s a bummer that Elf products don’t work for you. They have such great products that so many influencers love them. I’ve only tried a couple of the Elf products but I want to try the ones that everyone loves but are always sold out in the brick and mortar stores. I’ve also heard good things about Milani too. Of course I think the OG Maybeline and L’Oréal etc are great too. I love that influencers try the drugstore makeup and recommend the ones that they love. The Elf Halo Glow is really pretty. I gifted it to my friend that only uses luxury makeup and she loves it. I hope it works for you too.
I just wanted you to know i love your channel . I am older 53 but I have deep set eyes and hollow under eyes . Your info is always so great . Don’t ever change!!! Congratulations on 100k
red blush video? yes, very much needed and appreciated. bad dupes? nah. k-beauty categories? blush, lip products and maybe powder or foundation. library items? nah, toss them. // oh wow, how are you supposed to ever use up one of the full size miracle balms? // also, would loe a bronze blush video because I am very much shying away from that but it sounds intriguing // thank you so much for your effort and the work you have put into this video. Loved it!
Yes! A million times yes on red blush! Its so beautiful if you get it right. I also adore cool toned blushes, I think they can be harder to make. Great video, it was such a joy to watch! Always trust you the most about blush!
would love to see a video of all the pillowtalk blush color dupes in your collection - if any! doesnt have to be the same wand / formula but just color dupes
Same, I really covet that blush wand but it's almost 50 dollars and I'd love to see colors that are similar in shade, even if the formulas are not the same!
This was such a great video - I LOVE your longer videos!! In terms of k-beauty videos, I'd really love a round-up of the TRULY wet-looking glitter shadows you've found from k- (and j-beauty, if you've tried any) beauty brands. Glitter shadows are SO inconsistent in k-beauty and many that look good are a total letdown so I'd love a vid like that!!!!
This was pretty epic! I would love to see comparison/swatch/declutter videos that are organized by shade as that would help me choose and declutter for myself. Thanks so much for this - and for your discerning eye and descriptive video!
Red blushes for the win! I share your love of reddish bronzers and that sort of thing. I recently got a the undone water bronzer in Sangria, and the water blush in Cherry. The bronzer color is just gorgeous, and not patchy like the original color kinda was. Pop a little of the Cherry blush on the cheeks, ugh. So good! They also make stunning lip tints. Such an underrated brand. Thanks for this incredible video!
Not me looking at blush online while you declutter yours 😂 I decluttered mine not too long ago so Im watching you for the gems! I got the Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Inner Glow this week! Can’t wait to try! ❤
Thank you for reminding me how many beautiful blushes I already own. I pulled out my Daniel Sandler blushes which I think are the most flattering skin like blushes on the market. Nothing is really like them. Thanks for a great video.
Absolutely loved this declutter video Amanda (these are my favs always hahah). However, will say the yellowish background is throwing me off a bit - struggling rather to work out undertones etc! Xx
There's something about deculutter videos that I enjoy watching them. I like tidiness and organisation and I really wouldn't put up with the knowledge that I have a full drawer of just blushes! 😂 I have as many as two myself, one of which I want to get rid of 😂
Thank you for this video! I'd love the Red Blush edition for sure❤. I used to think red blushes were too much, and Merit Rouge is one of my go-tos these days. Also, I think red works well for many different skin tones.
Hi! Just wanna stop to say I love your video, you make such a good job at describing products in a very useful way (especially for us average consumers) ✨ keep doing it, we need creators like you!
Yes PLEASE do a video on bronzer/blush hybrids. I bought my first two bronzers last summer (merit and tower 28) and I almost never wear them because they just don’t look realistic on my skin tone. I prefer a blushed bronzer or a bronzed blush.
I still had a sample of Milk 'Werk' when they made the switch to the smaller amount of product. I thought I was crazy when I saw the tiny packaging on the shelves for the first time because I had no memory of purchasing 'Werk'.
would love to hear anything you have to say about k-beauty. I’m especially interested in the blushes and lip tints/lipsticks. They’re just so different in formula to the western lipsticks/lipglosses, I love them. Also I’d like you to talk about red blushes. Maybe you could show how you use them on your cheeks as well. I love the idea of a red blush but I just find them hard to blend and make it look natural.
Amanda I think it would be interesting for you to explore Dupe companies. Like Elf and Alter Ego, for example (that's the name, isn't it? Lol idk). I think it would be interesting to see what they offer and if they are truly good products or if these companies should find another lane. I think Elf needs to be more innovative. It gets kind of old... and tacky when that's all they put out.
Def do a bad dupes video! It's so tiring to hear people call something a dupe simply bc it's in dupe packaging. You really put in the work to be very particular about even the small things that a lot of people gloss over. I'm of two minds when it comes to dupes as a principle though; I think it's good that people on a strict budget can get similar products to high end, but theft of IP is bad. A shade dupe or finding a dupe for a product that no longer exists, totally fine. Being a dupe brand with other people's ideas and undercutting them in price puts a bad taste in my mouth though. God, I hope those gross sponge tip applicators die soon. I'm def more on the end of spending more on one great quality product instead of multiple mediocre ones. So I always appreciate that you make sure we know that a bargain product isn't just good for the money, but good no matter what. Those Tarte liquid blushes are underrated! I'm really actually looking forward to seeing the Milk jelly things in like 6-12 months, because I'm skeptical that the bouncy nature is going to last. Like how jello dries out, you know.
Milk Werk is my absoluuuuuute Holy Grail 🤍 such a beautiful blush! So many powder blushes look amazing on top of it as well to give it that extra *mph* Coral over top, the coral in the shade comes out more, Dusty Rose on top… oh just absolutely stunning. Peach on top… gorgeous. It’s just perfection 🥰
I completely agree about The Honest Beauty cream blush being one of the best, if not the best cream formula out there. It truly does last like no other and I attribute that to its stiff, thick formula. For a long while after I bought it, I didn't love it. Come to find out, I wasn't using the ideal brush. I now apply it with Elf's stipling brush and its perfection. I've also come to the conclusion that I just don't like liquid blush. Liquid blush tends to change tone once applied. I don't know if it oxidizes but no liquid blush remains true to color like a stiffer cream does. I have a mini of the Rare Beauty liquid blush in hope and I rarely ever reach for it.
I love these type of videos like doing one on foundations, eyeshadows, etc. you go through them and you do the swatches and tell us a little bit about them. I enjoy your videos.😊
I love the chanel water fresh blush, I have the pink one and it is pigmented. Im an average fair girl (b10 is my winter shade) and this blush manages to give a beautiful watercolor flush on the cheeks. Love your content, xoxo from Australia
Please please pleaseeee do a red blush video!!!! I'd loveeee to see that for spring summer, I'm looking into buying one and I don't know which would work best. Love your videos Amandaaaa
Could you do a video where you have the original product, a comparable product or straight dupe, and a product that is a bad “dupe” (like one that people say is a dupe, but isn’t good)? Then say which of the two you’d recommend out of the dupe and the og?
As someone with light cool skin, i don’t really like colors that aren’t basically pink. Sure more dusty, slightly purple, slightly brown or a bright pink, but otherwise I just think they look strange. Westman Atelier in petal is exactly the color that I naturally blush. Am I being too narrow minded or is it just my skin tone?
As a cream blush addict, this video is basically my Super Bowl.
Haven’t tried cream blush but my Tuesday night just got better. Love her declutters.
I couldn't agree more!
Lol lol 😂 me too
Same ❤
😂
Yes, yes, yes, never stop having high standards and thorough reviews, it's the main reason why I watch and trust you! Please continue only recommending affordable products when they meet your standards, not when they're simply "good, for a drugstore product."
absolutely agree!!!
Red blush? Yes, please! It seems strange, but I find it hard to go wrong with red blushes. And I'm pale as a ghost, too!
I’m with you Bina. I am Casper personified but there’s something so fresh about a sheered out red!
Same, I have a slight olive undertone, and I reckon maybe somehow the green/yellow cast of the skin somehow neutralises the red somehow. But in general red is quite a universal colour, especially when sheered out. Not every shade of red for everyone, but in general it's a great tone for most.

Red blush? Yes please. I panned Exhibit A years ago, and now am on the hunt for a cream.❤
The Moira blush in “ILY” might be a good shade match for Exhibit A. It’s a matte liquid formula, and it’s affordable. ❤️🍓
YES to red blush and bronze blush videos ❤

I love your critiques and declutters. Thank you ❤I think a “Don’t get Duped” video would be welcome. If you could swing it before the Sephora Sale, it would be brilliant. I do find it’s better to buy an excellent formula rather than a poor one is better. Searching for a bargain can be so expensive.
I would love a current favourites and failures in KBeauty.
Ooooh that's a great video title!!! ⚡
It would be interesting for you to swatch all those orangey brown colors, because they literally all look the same to me.
I second the idea in the bad hyped up products. Most of the ELF products I have tried over the year are OK. I think their makeup brushes and tools are good quality for the price and work in a pinch but their makeup products simply don’t work for me. I on the other hand LOVE halo glow & their og cc cream.. makes my skin look like there's a filter on.. I think it's the difference in skin type etc
Agreed. 😊
But don't sleep on Rimmel. They have some really great products, too.
That’s a bummer that Elf products don’t work for you. They have such great products that so many influencers love them. Yes. Please, tell me all the things I shouldn’t buy. It helps. 😊

BTW you NEED to try Phytosurgence.
Also I LOVE the RDF creme blushes in both formulas.
Thank you for reminding me how many beautiful blushes I already own. I pulled out my Daniel Sandler blushes which I think are the most flattering skin like blushes on the market. Nothing is really like them. Thanks for a great video.
Missing the Kiko Milano Velvet Touch, the Moira cream blushes and the Holika Holika jelly dough blusher

Holy moly!!! This is a marathon of eye candy. Thank you
Absolutely loved this declutter video Amanda (these are my favs always hahah). However, will say the yellowish background is throwing me off a bit - struggling rather to work out undertones etc! Xx
Ah i was hoping to find Viollete FR and westman atelier blushes here😢. Love these declutter videos thank you.
Yes red blush video would be nice!❤
Definitely interested in both a red blush video and a bronze blush video
There's something about deculutter videos that I enjoy watching them. I like tidiness and organisation and I really wouldn't put up with the knowledge that I have a full drawer of just blushes! 😂 I have as many as two myself, one of which I want to get rid of 😂

Amanda try the Persona cream blush in Caramel! You might like it!
Thank you for this video! I'd love the Red Blush edition for sure❤. I used to think red blushes were too much, and Merit Rouge is one of my go-tos these days. Also, I think red works well for many different skin tones.
I would love to see a bronzy blush video. Those are my favorite shades too! I'd love to find a shade dupe for Saie Spicy

LOVE watching your long videos! Thank you, Amanda❤
I have ripped Persimmon from A'Pieu is such a versatile formula, i can apply it even over powder , after i've setted my face! Amazing and affordable!
I still had a sample of Milk 'Werk' when they made the switch to the smaller amount of product. I thought I was crazy when I saw the tiny packaging on the shelves for the first time because I had no memory of purchasing 'Werk'.
Yes to red blush vid!
Red blushes yeesss! 😍

WOULD LOVE A “BAD DUPES” VIDEO 🙏🙏🙏
Amanda, ive bought and used insync blushes since your reco last year. They're sooo good. Thank you ❤
Here for a red blush video. It’s one of my favorite blush colors. Would love to hear how the merit and make beauty (if you have it) compare.
Would loveee a red blush video, maybe adding deep reds too ❤
Red blush video?! Yes ma'am!! Nudestix Beach Babe is my Fav red blush.
Been waaaaaiiiiting for this one!
Hey Amanda ! Have you ever tried the Bobbi Brown pot rouge cream blushes ? I think you would love them ! 😊
I'd love to see a red blush video from you.
Also trying to remember if you've ever tried the Phytosurgence cream blushes?
When Amanda says "Cream Blush" I come a running. Also I am down for 1 hour 40 minutes(ok I might ff through brands I don't care about.)
Amanda, I'm interested in EVERY video you make. Please keep sharing your thoughts!
Amanda do you have any Moira liquid or cream blushes? You need some!
Great video, thank you for all the time you put into it!
Please please pleaseeee do a red blush video!!!! I'd loveeee to see that for spring summer, I'm looking into buying one and I don't know which would work best. Love your videos Amandaaaa
Persona teddy is so pretty like a nice toasty sort of blush on my skin tone (light medium olive) I love it!! And the texture is really nice too :)
I love blusher....and bronzer ❤❤❤
Could you do a video where you have the original product, a comparable product or straight dupe, and a product that is a bad “dupe” (like one that people say is a dupe, but isn’t good)? Then say which of the two you’d recommend out of the dupe and the og?

I’m in the same camp. I like reds too otherwise eternally looking for purple blushes or mixing grey pigments in to make blushes cooler
I would love a red blush video! You had mentioned making one a few times before and i’ve been hoping for it, lol.
it is in the works ;)
I would love to see a red blush video!
Epic loved this ! ….appreciate the work that went into this movie ❤
Thank u for the video! Would love a video on "blonzer " shades! Have u (or anyone else) tried the Chantecaille cream blush in a tube? Thoughts on it?
