- In this travel vlog, I walked around San Salvador at night to see if it was safe and to show you guys the true essence of what El Salvador is becoming and what it has to offer. If you watch any news or social media outlets, they all tend to post El Salvador in a negative and unsafe light. I decided to go check it out myself and was completely blown away. Possibly the friendliest and most welcoming country I've ever visited. This will be the third video of about 5 or 6 videos from El Salvador. I hope you guys enjoy!
Cheers!

La zona Rasa is exclusive

Like 109, excellent video, you are almost reached 1K of subs, congratulations Ken, I hope to c u soon at El Salvador
Yes brotha, I'm almost there!!!! I'm definitely coming back sometime this year!
This is the most genuine video that i have watched about San Salvador's Downtown. You can see a lot of Police Officers because currently the government is fighting against gang members but it's not a problem, we're winning. You need to know that you cannot be killed in San Salvador but you can find bad people who wants to rip you off just because you're foreigner. Nowadays the gang members are decreasing.
Thank you so much Josue for the kind words! This was my intention, to show the world the true El Salvador in its rawest form without all the B.S. I had an amazing time in El Salvador, and never once felt threatened, intimidated or anything. The government is definitely doing an amazing job and I really hope this video inspire more people to visit this amazing country! Thank you for watching! Saludos 🍻
They're everywhere! I honestly didn't run into many prostitutes, but there were beautiful women all around, especially on the weekends. I suggest researching activities happening then just going out. It's a beautiful country with beautiful women and amazing people, you can't go wrong. Saludos 🍻
That's call El Cerro histórico de San Salvador
Now Days El Salvador is the Second safest country in central America
I can definitely see why! I will also definitely the friendliest county I've ever visited! Everyone was very nice and welcoming. I will definitely visit again soon! Thank you for watching Mario! Cheers! 🍻
Hey man, did you use some effect with your camera? Good to see there were no dramas but still, keep at night man - can never be too careful even if we are starting to see some sort of "chilled" times in El Salvador. Cheers
So since I was walking at night, I had to enhance the footage to make it viewable during the night since the camera I use is horrible at night. I know some parts are very bright and seem off, but that was intentional to brighten the area, so the audience could see the city at night. Don't worry, I don't plan on doing too many more night vlogs 😅😅. Thank you for watching! Saludos 🍻🍻
@@CultureShockAddict Cheers man. Saludos to you too
The camera needs to be better brewsky! Enjoying the journey but everything was looking yellow for a while. Jejjeejjejej

What made you travel there?
I wanted to experience it for myself. There is so much negative publicity surrounding it, I wanted to go and give you guys an authentic look into this country. Plus there wasn't many videos of people going so I thought it would be a great trip and it turned out to be amazing! Definitely recommend going! Thank you for watching! Saludos 🍻
Well it’s probably safe since their Government started hunting gang members I don’t think you would have made it thru there last year . Just saying , I do appreciate the video very interesting .
This is very true! So many locals was telling me the same thing about how there is now 0 tolerance for any type of gang activity and you can feel it, even as a Tourist. I really hope more and more people travel there. It is truly a gem with amazing people! Thank you for watching! Saludos 🍻
DUDE!!!! Thank you for the memories I used to hang out there when I was a teenager now I'm surprised no one came to you and tell you put your camera away or you'll get rob and you DONT WALK AROUND WITH HEAVY CHAIN AROUN YOUR NECK...are you crazy ???? but thanks again for the vid 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
not even I would walk those street at night that's crazy even tho I speak the language no freaking way .....no freaking way....
Hey Willie, that truly makes me delighted to hear and know my video was able to brighten just one person's day, or take them down memory lane. Thank you for watching! Saludos 🍻
My fellow Americans. Why do you do this . Lets go to the projects in Chicago and seeif its safe . Your need for attention is undeniable
I think you may be confused about the overall message of the video so I'll explain. The purpose of the video is to showcase that El Salvador has turned over a new leaf, especially with their new president zero tolerance for gang activity and violence. The video is to highlight that a foreigner, especially one that sticks out with black skin, gold chain, phone and camera, was able to safely walk the streets at night and have 0 issues. Now obviously I would not recommend the average tourist to try this, but my intent is to show people how beautiful El Salvador is, how much safer it is, and to consider adding El Salvador to their travel plans. I would not attempt a video like this in Chicago because Chicago isn't improving, the president/and local government could careless about the violence there, as long as it's far away from their gated communities, so your analogy doesn't fit the narrative or intent of my video. Thanks for watching. Cheers 🍻
