Today JayMike and PWG take a look at their favourite old football boots that they wore back in the days, including everything from the first Nike Mercurial football boots to the adidas Predator, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 1, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 3 and the Nike Hypervenom Phantom 1. Football boots today have come a long way, but ever since JayMike and PWG started playing football many years ago, they've worn a good few pairs of football boots from both Nike, adidas and PUMA but also from the smaller brands such as Mizuno, Lotto, New Balance, Under Armour and Umbro - and today they look at their favourite pairs from their huge football boot collections.

Suprisingly enough, PWG used to play football as a striker, wearing everything from the PUMA King Top DI to the adidas Copa Mundial, adidas Predator Pulse, the PUMA v1.06, the adidas F50+ and the adidas Predator Absolute before calling it quits to pursue his football freestyle career. Back in the days I was so obsessed with the Adidas Predator Mania. Just got a takedown model, but had so much love for them. My first top tier boot was the Nike Tiempo Legend III, got my Name stiched on it, I was crazy about them and you can´t imagine how happy I was. But my favorite boot of all time has to be the Adidas F50 Adizero from 2011 in the yellow/purple colourway. Damn it, what an incredible boot!
I haven't had any high-end boots yet but I've had Take down mercurials since 2011/2012 and oh my God I loved every single one ,but after subscribing to unisport I found out the difference from take-down to high-end and saved up for a pair of radiation flair Superfly's on unisport store and I can't wait for them to arrive!! But my favorite has to be what is the veloce now from the vapor 9 range!!
THE ADIPOWERS ARE AMAZING. Predators have always been good but I really loved the Adipowers. I have wider feet so I cannot fit on the vapors but the wider "primadonna" JayMike boots are a lot of my favorites!

Seeing your boots history makes me really wanna share mine. This is long but worth reading.
I m an all time Predator fan!! No kidding! I started my school team career with the Mania red then the next year with the darker grey, they are amazing and I felt like David Beckham. 3rd year with the Predator Pulse in all grey. Next two years I worn the Absolute DB Burgundy the first PLASTIC Predator soon later I got myself a pair of Absolute CL in white/black and most importantly the red tongue was back my personal FAVORITE OF ALL TIME! Being the favorite because that was the first time I played overseas in New Zealand. I had a lot of good memories in there for football and school. Of cause I kept myself in the next gen of Predators again as I moved to the US for college. Powerswerve and the best looking gen and I had four pairs: the OG colorway / DB silver gold climatecool / DB golden boots which I torn my knee ACL with them, tears dropping on my face and made my comeback with my first pair of Mi-adidas with white core, silver stripes and red tongue to pay tribute to the boot I never had, Accelerator white and red. Next, I bought the PredatorX DB all red which DB versions returned to leather again, totally love them the touch was soft and lockdown was great. Completed the X collection with electricity colorway. I skipped next two gens and returned again with the LZ1 with DB pink which caught a lot of attention on the field and the LZ2 with blue/orange because I admired their looks, plus they became the modernized boots back then. Finally, the Predator Instinct, I had these in light blue and the white/black/red colorway. They are not the best but also not the worst.
I would like to mention, although boots do not make the players but boots play important part in players' memories. I kept all my Predators just because I love getting them out of box to recall my good old glory days as a kid chasing one dream.

I was also a Predator guy back in the day but I remember in 2009 when Under Armour first came out with their boots I bought the Create Pro in white and black and fell in love with sock liners Under Armour had. They where so comfy and after a couple years I bought the My favorite boot of all time the Under Armour Carbon blur III. That boot had it all, light weight, responsive, comfy and so flashy. Wish Under Armour could go back to the Blur Carbon.
My favorite boot of all time was the first hypervenom. I wore every color way I could get my hands on up until they changed it, and even now I want to find the OG boots. Love them
Fellas I've got way too many favorites but I'll go from my high school years and before. I had a pair of Nike Tiempos in 02, then I got a pair of Predator Pulses in 04 (although I think they were a takedown) and then during my high school years (2007-2011) I went adiPure, which is my favorite silo of all time. The adiPure II and III are probably my two favorite boots ever

Hypervenom Phantom 1! Absolutely amazing pair of boots straight out the box. The way they just hugged your foot straight out the box. The way I would carve up defence with agility. The banger goals I scored. Wish I still had pair.
My favourite boot ever is the first gen hypervenom. The upper was so comfortable and so gripping to the ball, absolutely beautiful 😍
I'm 18 and i stil play with my old pair of predator in mu team in lega pro that is quite high as a league in italy, but i do love the mercurial vapor 8, expecially the pink/orange one, just love 😍
My favorite boots of all time are the 2011 f50 adizero prime in the white,blue,pink colour way.They were so light weight and my first top end model.

my favourite boot ever is the nike hypervenom 3 motion blur. this is because of the pods that you get on the boot which help your shooting and touch, also because of the beautiful colourway

My favorite old boot, hmmm..... I would have to say that the Nike CTR360 Maestri iii were my favorite boots! Those boots were insane! I would even have to say that my favorite color way would be the Yellow and Black! It was just.... woah....

The adidas predator x from 2010 the white and yellow. I didn't were them a long time but they were great football shoes!
My favorite boots are the messi 10.3's in white. Not because they were a particularly amazing boot, but because they were the boots that I was wearing when my school team made it to the playoffs my senior year. I had my teammates sign them and they are the only boots that I have ever kept after they wore out.

should I get a mercurial superfly in fg or adidas 17.1 primeknit in any stud configuration. I play on fg sg and ag but I play rugby and football. any tips on which to get?
I have only had tiempo legend 6 as far as I can remember so that is my favorite. I love the stories that they told in this video.
My favourite boot of all time( Still pretty young), is the Nike magista obra 1. Played with the magista obras, switched to ace 15.1 and then switched back to the magistas again. I am now playing with the superfly 5, but the fit and touch cannot be compared.
My favorite boots of all my life was the Mercurial Superfly II but not for the technology I liked for the combinations of color (Windchill) and was my first pro boots in my life, I really want to see a remake or something like that with this combinations of colors like Nike did with the remakes of mercurials in 2014.
My favourite old time boot is Nike Air Zoom Total 90 II. They felt so freakin' nice and still have them today :)
Total 90 laser II yellow, such an amazing boot and a shame they stopped making them. A teammate of mine still has them and they are just awesome.
Miguel Aymerich had one in yellow for a few month, never played in them. Now I have the army green/ black version and still havent played in them. I might do in the future.

first boot was a fufu adiPowers. it was a good boot right before I had the LZ1s. It was love at first sight. I'm looking forward to buy a Copa/Kaiser though since I gave my old boots to my cousin.
Two pairs have a special place in my heart. Firstly the T90 Laser II which I wore at my first ever trial and scored five goals in my first game, brilliant boot I will buy again one day. Secondly, the Tiempo Legend III which I bought after having suffered through six months of pain in the Vapor VI so the comfort level just blew my mind.

I've always tried to justify investing in a good pair of football socks... but I've never been able to afford socks at these higher prices, so to be given the chance to try them out would be a treat! Oh and for my favourite boot of all time... it has to be the Addidas F50 adizeros I LOVE these boots😍.

Nike Vapor II in dark red (orange running through it). Must uncomfortable boots i've ever worn, but my god they looked good. The blackout Predator Pulse...amazing. White/gold R10 Tiempo legends. Chameleon (purple) f50 adizero. Yeaaaah i've had some nice boots. Always wanted the f50+ 'spider web' boots in navy/blue.
CTR360 Maestri III were my first football boots ever and they were really awesome.

My dad got a pair of the first Tiempos from his team back in the day. I loved playing in those when my dad retired from playing. I have been trying to find them from my parents house but I think my mom threw them away. Also I recently rediscovered my blackout 1st gen Hypervenom Phantoms and I gotta say that they are still one of the best boots ever.
I loved my first pair of cops, but I do remember falling in love with one leather pair of umbros, in black and white, made from calfskin, and they just blew me away. I had vapor 4's again which I loved. But my all-time favourite boot is still the T90 Laser 4 in the Euro colorway, the kangalite was amazing and if I had to choose one boot to wear forever, it would be those.

Im a young amateur footballer, so the oldest boots i had ever wear are the nike tiempo legend IV in white and orange colourway, i used them for also 1 year, they were so comfortable, that tiempo boots were my favorite ones. Then i grown up and they didnt tied to my feet correctly.

Always and forever the Adidas Predator Accelerator. I also have love for the Nike Air Rio Zooms, which were one of the most comfortable boots I've ever had. An honorable mention goes to the Adidas Profi.
Nice nostalgic video guys. it got me thinking (I am at a ripe old age). The boots that stand out for me in my back catalogue are as follows:
Nike Finale D (a Tiempo take down from the mid 80s with black leather and silver accents which I got handed down from my brother, I think he paid £27.99)
Lotto Superfield D (massive white fold over tongue with plush black leather, worn by Ruud Gullit in early 90s an my first ever new boot not second hand £35.99)
Adidas Predator Rapier SG (my first and last Predator from 1995, solid boot but no ball feel and very bulky, but awesome power and swerve £50.00 in a sale)
Nike Tiempo Pro 3 M (a take down, but such a comfortable boot for so little money £36.99)
Nike Mercurial 2 SG (the original speed boot tweaked with the shorter tongue in black with blue accents and white swoosh, like James Bond wearing a dinner suit, £50.00 in a sale)
Nike Match Mercurial SG (the most stylish boot ever in my opinion, black with burgundy accents and white swoosh, excellent touch and responsiveness, again £50.00 in a sale)
Nike Tiempo 94 (a remastered classic, enough said, eBay £50.00)
*Prices are from what I recall. Also in the old days 'M' signifies moulded studs and for some reason 'D' meant screw in soft ground studs.

Predator Absolute and Powerswerve are definetely the best boots I've ever had. Hope that one day Adidas could make some remakes for those 2 Preds in mass production, not in limited quantity like the Mania remakes.
My favorite old boots were the Vapor 4 SL's, had them in 3 different color ways citrus/blue, dark blue/green,and Red/Gold. The Vapor 3's were my first love but the sizing wasn't right so I'll never truly know

See my problem is i started playing wayyyy to late. My first proper cleat was the vapor 9
But my foot was to wide and learn what it mean to be wide footed. Went and got a tiempo v legend fell in love
At the same time got the ronaldo mercurials and loved those too (the white with orange/highlight yellow)
And the boot im still using now is the world cup predator which isnt bad but looking to get my hands on one of the classic models or go back to tiempos
Most effective boot for me of all time has to be the ----- NIKE T90 LASER III WHITE AND GOLD---- they turned me into a goal scoring machine, they were so good, I brought them again when i broke my old ones!!

My favourite old boot has to be the NIKE T90 Laser IV. It's just perfect for striking a ball, but my favourite boot right now has to be Puma EvoPOWER Vigor 1, because It's really comfortable and wide. A pair of NIKE socks would be great because I'll have a nice pair of socks and a great pair of boot👍😉

Orange Adidas Tunit F50.7, cleanest strike I've ever hit shame the tunit system made them fall apart :(

My favorite pair of boots I used had to be my Umbros Speciali Pro Three because it had such a good fit I still have the boots and I haven't worn them since I was six years old but I remember blocking so much goals with those boots because for football in Guam in the U-6 division keepers can't use their hands but I'm in the U-13 elite division which I now wear a pair of X16's from the red limit pack
