Craig Johnston...legend. He originally had a deal in place with adidas for 2% of all boots sold. When Adidas was taken over by new owners they pulled out a clause in the contract and bought him out, he estimates he lost out on 100s of millions of dollars. He deserves more recognition for inventing these amazing boots
The ‘98 Predator was perfection - it was THE football boot to have. Zidane, Beckham et al wearing them at the World Cup made them even more desirable.
Zidane’s gold boots he wore when he got sent off in the final were also pretty sweet.

To me, 1998 Accelerator was the most epic one, also my first pair of "premium" football boots! Lucky got a pair of the remake but would like to see they remake the white edition as well...

My favorite predator is the predator mania from 2002
One of my teammates wore the original Predators in the 90's. He was around 110 kg then, but he also was an excellent free kick shooter. He played as a defensive midfielder but he was free of defending duties as long as he was able to score the free kicks we were awarded with. He was very talented in that strategy.

Predator Pulse is my favorite of them all. I had the Pulse, Absolute, PowerSwerve, AdiPower and LZ 2; and I loved the Pulses so much I bought my second pair on EBay in 2010. I still have it.
Nostalgia plays a big part here. I grew up with the Precision being the one for me. Beautiful boots.
Accelerator and Absolute are my 2 favs! Worn them, never again I look at anything else!

My 2 favorite predator models were the AdiPower in the Blue & Yellow color way and the black and orange color way (which I had). And the Lethal Zones in almost every color.

I remember the silver predator mania in silver color ones with the gel inside the heel. I always wanted those pairs but my dad said they were too expensive. Always dreamt of playing with them. :)
