I will always love the adidas preds... My first branded series that I tried. Since then I have tried the nike mercurials, nike hypervenoms, adidas F50s, nike CTRs , some puma models, many local brands in my country but the adidas predators will always be my no. 1.
I had the first pair of Predators back in 94 and only wore Predators from that point on - the last Pair I bought were the 'Accelerators' before having to hang up my boots due to a bad injury. I even had a couple of pairs of Predator 'trainers' for hard surfaces... The Best Boots I ever played Football in!!! Its interesting to see how technology has changed - don't know necessarily for the better in some cases LOL but I don't (and can't) play anymore so I won't know if its for the 'better' in terms of actual performance - I was talking aesthetically
@@FootballBoots i require those striking elements on the upper, for spin and would like a bit of cushioning as well cos it hurts getting stepped on by studs. ive been playing less this past decade and i wore a couple of the rival brand's flagship silo, which fits amazing but the upper is thin and almost smooth making it difficult to curl short distances in those small ag pitches. the old Preds with the kangaroo leather which my generation got used to and we would curl longer shots more often then the kids do now (as if due to the boots available today not having control/power elements for spin on the upper has affected the game). The new Preds feel amazing; i got the ag japan version and its perfect for turf and the rubber bits legit make me believe i have an unfair advantage. Super nice to show off to the younger kids, curling the ball around half the team and into goal lol
