The Adidas Predator series is iconic, and a huge part of the history of Adidas football! If you ask boot nerds what their favorite Pred is, you'll get a variety of different answers, but it's almost a guarantee that the majority will say "Mania", and for good reason. After two sub-par efforts, Adidas has once again done a remake of the 2002 Predator Mania, this time in Red and Metallic Silver, but more importantly, with a kangaroo leather upper!
In today's video we break down all of the little details of the 2019 Predator Mania remake, my favorite football boots of all-time! We'll see how they compare to the OGs, how the boots hold up against the modern boots of today and why these limited edition boots might actually be worth the high $350 retail price! Good review! But the the elastic placement when you did them up drove me crazy. It looked like it was about to burst. If the tongue doesn’t fold over further down the boot, just place the elastic in a normal spot so it doesn’t over stretch like that. Beckham’s famous elastic placement was because his tongue folded over almost the entire length of the boot.

Hey Josh, I recently purchased a pair of these, and they are definitely a bit larger then modern cleats. Do you think the leather will stretch a significant amount? When double socking, they fit very well, I am just worried about the long term viability of the shoes.
The majority of the stretching will happen through the toe box and forefoot area. In general they will stretch, but not a lot.
Hole at the end of the tongue is a lace hole 🤔 too hold down the tongue...
So Josh, for this upcoming season I will be buying some new boots. Pretty much all of my games will be on natural ground and maybe 1-2 on artificial. Would it we worth it to buy an extra pair or maybe get an ag pro or should I just go for natural which was my original plan?
I think an extra set of boots in general is always a good thing to have, and if you're only wearing them a few times per season, they'll likely last you for a long time. Ultimately it's your call though.

Both excellent, but so different in every possible way. It really depends on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for.

Hey Josh, would junior length laces be too short on these? The laces look like they run pretty deep so I'm afraid they would be too short. I ordered a 9, so it should be close to your size.
I would be cutting it pretty close. They'd definitely fit, you'd likely have very little slack left at the end to tie the boots.
Is the nemeziz 19.1 tighter than mercurial superfly 12 pro and does it have a better lockdown?
The Mercurials have a tighter overall fit. Responsiveness is pretty similar between the two.
Shame on you josh I thought during the on feet portion you were going to wear one boot like becks by not lacing the top loophole and extending the tongue lol😭😭 thanks for the vid chap
I never wore them like that when I had them as a kid. In general, I've never worn boots without lacing them all the way to the top. It just feels wrong to me.

I don't think so, if a good old boot comes back, people will rush to buy it, which will effect the sells of the other current boot lines, nemeziz, predator etc. that's why all of them are limited.
