Last one for me thanks. Although that first one was really interesting. Also i liked how you said no intense farming nearby, which was the polite way of saying no open air pig cesspits at the neighbors 😂
Enjoyed the donkey sfx at about 8:15! Honestly, no intentions of buying anything, but after my first trip to France for an art retreat last May, I just love seeing these properties.
I had a property in the Charente which I didn't hold onto in a divorce, the Charente was much cheaper than the Charente Maritime but a lot colder in the winter. Also the Chateau down south near Pau, I expect would be too hot in Summer and being near the Pyrenees would likely see a lot of snow in the winter. If you see 1 hour from ski sloops AVOID.
It would be helpful to know #'s of bath's and how many of those are on suites. Bathrooms are a significant cost to add. Love the series. And would also appreciate manor house series. 1 step below these huge houses. Thanks for the great info.
Can’t wait until Dan does Provence. I know it’s a different country but any chance Dan could do the region of Spain immediately south of Provence on the Spanish side along the coast? Thanks.
Thank you for this interesting vlog! I wonder why there are almost no chateaux for sale in Alsace/Lorraine to be found on big online sites as Figaro etc. Do you know perhaps why that is?
@FrenchEstateAgent some . have it under offer some not. A lot of sold properties are left up as loss leaders. Like when a store advertises things for sake, you go to the store and they are out of the item. But, they got you into the store and then you may buy something else. I have enquired about a few properties, and they have been long sold
Well nice try, because none of them are Chateau, all are Manoirs, its time to dah english speaking world to make differences between a manoir and a chateau , not?
And may I ask what you are basing this great knowledge on? The 1st & 3rd are definitely chateaux, I would guess that the 3rd is a manoir, and for the 4th I am not sure.

You have got me sussed!!

SFX????? No it’s really real, eeeh ooorhs all day and night. The joys of country living.
Wonderful presentation as always. The 4th Château is my favourite.
Many thanks!
Love these videos. I will definitely engage you if I find one that piques my interest.
Please do!
Property 4 was my favorite!.. Great value and has such a fairytale look to it .
I totally agree!
The first and the last chateaux were gorgeous… I hope to be moving in a year to France. So soon I’ll be needing a home…
Feel free to contact me 😁
I love this series. Maybe next you could do a smaller manor house series? Would love to see those, too. ❤
I will try!
I like the last one the best. I know you say dated, but I like dated, except for that kitchen. Thanks for sharing these with us.
Thanks for watching!
Wow great channel ! Cheap places compared to QLD Australia

Great vid 👍 Amazing how few pics there are for 7/8/9+ bedroom sales - always raises suspicion with me 🤔
You and me both!
I think the square chateau is refreshing. And like the smaller ones. Who needs allot to keep up, enjoy your videos. Thank you
Glad you like them!
A bargain lovely château 4th property

Noted!
Like. Number 4
Me too
Do you have any by the Alps please
The first and last, although yes, I agree the price for the first is a bit high in comparison. Thanks!
For a google satellite peak, the second chateau is at: 310 Chemin de Saint-Picq, 64300 Bérenx
haha, Edited that bit out by mistake!!!
Wish I had read the comments😂. Took me all evening to find it myself.
BEST WISHES TO YOU

I think you might have your geography mixed up. Provence is part of France, but it is on the South Eastern corner touching Italy.
number four is the best for the price
I agree
I stand corrected. It’s Occitanie whose coastline proceeds south into Spain. My question still stands though. Any Costa Brava possibilities? Thanks
France is already a big country to cover, I don't think I will be expanding my range

Have you tried looking under Grand Est, which is what the region is called now
Like the first chateaux, you seem square! But we like you a lot for being different.
Lol
Misread the title and clicked hoping to see inexpensive cakes 🎂 😮 enjoyed it nevertheless.
I'll try and do a cake one soon then....
How big do I want the pool? Bigger than the helipad obviously...
Its easier to wash the helicoptere that way
can you slow down on the photos please
As mentionned before, I am not here to advertise the chateaux which are on the market with other agents, I am just giving my opinion of them.
Salies-de-Béarn is 4.12ha, so ~10acres
Thank you
Have you ever had a chance to put an owners group of 3 or 4 people together to purchase a property?
Me personally no, I am an estate agent.
It is something I would be interested in ..base is Germany.
The 2nd one has sold long ago
Well its still being advertised. www.bellespierres.com/fr/vente/chateau/salies-de-bearn-64270/bien-exception-1360055

Your arrow background light actually hurts my eyes. Need to sit as to block it.😊
