For those screeching about silicones and sulfates not being bad: let me correct you. All of you have one thing in common: you have wavy hair. Yes, even those of you who think you have curly hair, you potentially just have wavy hair. Everything that the kind and beautiful lady showed in this video is formulated for wavy and/or straight hair textures, not curly or coily hair. MASSIVE difference.
There are active ingredients in head and shoulders used to treat the problem, and her swap does not contain it. Dry and itchy scalp is not the same as dandruff, massive difference- there are better options that are cheaper than that alternative. Most people are perfectly fine with using silicones and sulfates regardless of hair texture. They’re not as a whole bad, really just got to figure out what works for you. I have curly hair. Not wavy. And my mom has pretty pin straight hair. And we love alot of the same products

You can get dandruff and hairloss when you don't use sulfates. Because the shampoo without sulfates doesn't clean enough, so you will get dandruff, itching and buildup on your scalp. And buildup on your hair can cause dryness and breakage. Believe me. I was using sulfate free for 5 years and my hair got bad. Now it is very long and dense like never before. To my but and platinum bleached, and healthy 😊

They're not necessarily saying they're bad in general I don't think because a lot of stuff has them. They just may not work well with that persons hair. Comes down to opinion and personal preference.
Unfortunately, my scalp hates clean. Clean products contain too much oil, which makes my scalp feel like it is on fire. Please recommend hair products with precautions. Not all scalps are created equal.

Also depends on how much you wash and if you add clarifying shampoos into your routine every once in a while to prevent build up.
My hair works better with silicones because of the fact my hair is coarse thick and low porosity. So no silicones weighs my down my wavy hair and it makes it greasy
Thank you to the RUclips dermatologists who have taught us that sulfates and silicones aren't bad for you and that "natural" or "clean product" doesn't always mean better for you.
I agree Aussie shampoo is too drying and love the conditioner.
No, silicones aren’t bad, but it’s also super pointless to have them in shampoos. They don’t clean, *they condition.* They belong in conditioner and styling products, not shampoos.
I used to use the Aussie one now I use the shea moisture huge difference
Just to make it clear. Silicones and sulphate are infact very healthy for the hair proven scientifically and by dermatologists, and just because some products don’t work for you DOESNT mean it doesnt work for others so stop being dumb and guys don’t believe anything she says
if you have color treated hair, avoid sulfates.
Or how about you use what works for you because everybody is different. I tried the all natural not harsh crap. Even did custom made shampoos....my hair was a freaking mess. I just went back to using "harsh" shampoos and conditioner with silicones. My hair hasnt been this healthy this healthy in a long time. No more breaking, no more dry and no more dullness. I use a cleansing shampoo once a week and then regular shampoo and conditioners the rest of the time. Dont listen to people, listen to your hair
I have tried so many fancy hair products but the head and shoulders shampoo and conditioner pair is the best hair products I use them exclusively ( I also use rosemary oil too)
😂😂😂 One day u will regret saying that dear, i already thought the same u do until i understood that sulfate and silicone are the hair answer, try dove, for me i loved, the one called repair it's sogreat shampoo and conditioner as well dove is cruelty free and their package is recyclable ❤
I would love Shea Moisture if their products were bigger. I am lucky enough to be Brazilian and be able to buy KILOS of hair products for way less than I would in the U.S
All the original brands shown have clarifying ingredients in them, which we need to clean the gunk out of scalp and hair! The second product shown, are that feel more softer for the hair and scalp w/o that strip clean feel!
Ok but head and shoulders SAVED MY HAIR, i had dandruff and after using it for months, my hair looks so good!! Use what YOUR hair needs!!!😋
Ever since I listened to the looksmaxxers and quit using head And shoulders after about a year now my hair is now baked. I’m insecure now.
Muricul curls is meant for curly hair it works great. I don’t mean hate but just sayin I got the kit and it works great my hair isn’t damaged or anything
I use sulfate free Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner! I also have theit sulfate free leave-in conditioner and coconut water spray!
Those cost a lot. Plus, i need a 2 in 1 because no matter how i shampoo and condition my hair, it always ends up oily and nasty after i shower. 😢
Head and shoulders shampoo is great for people with dandruff
And if you use any of these shampoos and they work for you keep using them, there is no reason to throw them
Out if they work, she is just speaking about HER perspective
I’m so glad this comment section isn’t swallowing all that misinformation whole with no question asked!!! Silicones aren’t bad if you clarify and you need sulfates to clean your scalp!!!
'And it's a clean product!' 🤢
Please explain WHY sulphates & silicones are bad! Thank you!
I tried the Aussie conditioner and I didn’t even put it on my scalp… it only had contact when I rinsed it out…. And my scalp was inflamed. Burning and itchy 😢 I used this app for checking product ingredients and it has ALOT of bad ingredients. Some are banned in other countries. … sigh 😭 don’t use it if you have sensitive skin
My hair feels like shit when I don’t use silicones. I’ve bought expensive products that are “silicone free” and they are horrible.
The Jason organics brand makes a really nice affordable Tea tree shampoo also. I saw a reduction in hair fall in the shower while using it also. Really nice stuff.
😳🙅♀️🙅♀️But don't use that one if you're allergic to coconut oil I don't know if you know but a lot of people has stopped using things of coconut oil in it
ME ENCANTA the english HAHAH!! I LOVE HOW U USE SPANISH AND ENGLISH HEHE
And those products are cruelty free too 🥰
i love silicones in my shampoo ❤️ cuz im not a dumb b!
Telling us about the chemicals in hair products…while wearing nails with carcinogenic chemicals in them…just weird to me how people pick and choose
This is great I’ll have to look at these brands
Can someone recommend a shampoo that actually cleans your hair and not just masks the smell? Pls
People have different options and everyone's hair is different. Your hair may like sulfates but another persons probably won't. They're not necessarily saying they're bad in general I don't think because a lot of stuff has them. They just may not work well with that persons hair. Comes down to opinion and personal preference.
This is not directed towards the creator and is not mean't to be rude. I apologize if it comes off that way.
The use of word “clean” is a red flag so imma pass on this video thanks tho
Guys heads and shoulders is good for ur hair if u have dandruff I have been using it for 4 years
Unfortunately, my scalp hates clean. Clean products contain too much oil, which makes my scalp feel like it is on fire. Please recommend hair products with precautions. Not all scalps are created equal.
Her sneaking in 2-3 spanish words to sound a lil ethnic😭😭
Like what is the point
Shes hispanic, she speaks spanglish sometimes. Whats the problem?
@@oneypways it’s not real spanglish, and there is no problem I just pointed out how dumb sprinkling in only 2 spanish words sounds.
Or… this is just how Hispanics speak? Y’all always have some shit to say let people live
🤨 and what about it? We speak Spanglish all the time.
I'm sorry, but this is just all wrong. Silicones and sulfates aren't bad for the hair. My hair gets awful when I don't use them.
Shea Butter and Coconut make my fine curls greasy and weighed down. Kind of want to try the Aussie Curl’s 🤔
I have tried so many natural and sulfate free shampoos and they just didn’t work 😔
i have long thick curly hair.. id prolly use that whole bottle less than 3 weeks ...
I have curly hair and have tried multiple Shea moisturize products. IT DRIED OUT MY HAIR.
I don’t understand??? That coconut one WAS THE WORST. That was the last one I used and my hair has been dry and frizzy ever since 😭
I’m just barely recovering my hair from it now.
Put prices under each product.
But garnier smells so scrumptious 😨
The ones you tell us to choose are probably high AF compared to the other ones😂
Notice how they only show the ingredients lists for the one you're supposed to replace?
When I stopped using silicone and sulfates my hair got so bad and had a lot of breakage! I have low porosity 3b/3c hair
there is nothing wrong with silicone or sulfate
I can’t use clean products and ones that don’t contain sulfates and stuff. It never fully cleans my hair and I feel I always have major build up.
Harsh sulfates and silicones 😂😂😂 y’all are too funny with that miss information…I’m not sure whos old enough to remember but back in the day like 90s and 2000s our hair looked amazing and that’s back when we were destroying it on a daily basis before olaplex before K 18 back, when we would flat iron it wet then curl it lol then tease it then flat iron the bangs again lol the Pantene…the “harsh sulfates” 🙄 the silicones used to keep our hair looking amazing and still is for a lot of us…just remember while y’all are out, STILL trying to find a product that works swearing it all has to do with not using “ harsh sulfates and silicones” Just remember these products that you hate on have been around forever and are working for a whole lot of us. I would literally give up dating men for the rest of my life before I give up silicone hair products nothing keeps my hair, looking like actual hair, and not a thin frizzy mess like some good ol silicone. It’s the heat tools and the bleach that’s destroying your hair and the extensions that are giving your traction alopecia that you swear doesn’t break your hair 🙄 not the products.
BRO THE HEADS AND SHOULDERS SHEA BUTTER SHAMPOO.. I JUST USED THAT I JUST GOT OUT THE SHOWER 😭😭😭😭
The third organic company's name " Not your mother's naturals"😂😂
Every time I used sulfate free shampoo, tried them all, hair shed more than ever. The whole sulfate dimethicone is bad is a myth.
Is it all of the head and shoulders hair products or the one she’s holding because it help me with My dandruff and you don’t tell us the price
Sulfates are good on my hair but anything with coconut oil will dry my hair till it’s crumbling off ..
Do what works for you!!
Cores hard hair tangle moisturizing
So replace the affordable option with the most expensive thing like umm no 😂
Do you know any of the good products that dont smell like coconut? Like i need the product but i hate coconut😭😭
If the other products you mentioned are so good then why these replacement products are not trending??
