There's more attacking involved now, and yet less slashing.

I like the new changes to this attack. It does not feel like a move that only cancels into itself anymore.
It is pretty neato.
Although, I feel like its become the cowboy's Foresight + Shift in 1 move at the cost of 1 meter
Fun fact: I deleted a handful of frames from the quick slash animations in this video.
Whenever I have it playing in a size that's less than full screen, the screen flash from using a super will look like a gray block on the screen and it looks gross for 1 frame. So I manually deleted the 1 frame that the screen flash happens on, every time it happened. I don't think you can tell at all though.
Your videos are so damn clean man! Loving the quality of these little info drops
(P.S. would love more vids like Cowboys Normal Attacks, but for robot! You did a really good job on that vid, it was one that got me into the game to begin with)
I don't think I'll be doing a video in quite that style again. That video took me about a month to research, write, and edit.
It's a lot of effort and if I take that long to upload my viewership / subscription rate goes down, so it's not a smart move for me.
@@YomiLearn damn, shame
@@YomiLearn I think a decent compromise between not doing it and losing subscribers is perhaps doing it in the form of short form content? in the cowboy video itself, each move is basically able to be isolated from the rest of the video perfectly fine, so maybe you coould go move by move through a characters kit, 1 short per move?
@@YomiLearn obviously this might be really difficult, but couldn't you work on it in bits and pieces in between other videos? i can see how that would be difficult considering how often yomi updates, though
@@YomiLearnYou could possibly have something long-form in the works while also creating intermittent short-form content. Not sure if that’s your style of creation, but it might work to get the best of both worlds.
These are looking fantastic without the clashing colours. I really like the information you're providing
Finally, fun quickslash
i cant believe i only just found this channel after im at least around mid game, holy shit the editing and information is so good and i learnt so much that i didnt even realise last time, would love to see more of ur future videos man god bless the algorithm
Never too late.
gotta say, your videos are really informative and slick. I stopped playing for a while but saw your ninja dash stacking video and wanted to try it
Nice. Glad you like it. =D
Youve gotta be the best yomi
creator right now, keep it up man these are great
Thank you
Was waiting for this one
not sure if i like the changes but it feels fresh and new
hype to see what people will do on the tournament today with it
awesome video like always
It is an odd change.
The AsumSaus of YOMI Hustle 😱
Awesome video!
Thanks =D
great video!
if you make more of these, i think it'd be cool if you went into a bit more detail on the moves application. knowing all the framedata and functionality is great, but for beginners it would be useful to show when and how they might use it in an actual match.
the presentation in all your videos is really top notch though
I would consider that to be my normal approach. I'm experimenting some what with these shorter, faster videos. Explaining in full detail the applications of moves takes more time for me to research since it's more abstract and I'm admittedly not experienced enough at the game to know off hand.
Really enjoying these videos as I'm not very good at fighting games and YOMI seems to be the one that clicks the most with me haha.
This is a shot in the dark as well but are you using a mod to get those beautiful contrasting colours or is that all done via video editing? Either way it looks fantastic and if it isn't a mod it needs to be.
The colors are mods yes.
There's a stage loader mod that you can subscribe to on the steam workshop for yomi hustle. While it is necessary for what I've done, the colors I'm using are sort of stage mods that I personally made. Not as difficult as it sounds because all I did was set the background color. I put together specific color combinations and just match up a background color to character styles with coordinated colors.
@@YomiLearn Awesome, thank you very much for the prompt reply. I'll try my hand at figuring that out!
@@Zirunos No problem. You'll probably need to get resources from the yomi modding discord. You need to get the godot editer to edit stage files and take a look at one of the guides on how to make a stage.
to quote a funny conversation I had with someone in game:
"you need a degree in MS office to understand the quick slash rework"
Funny seeing as this is far less complicated than some of the tech/documentation I've seen for the game...
@@YomiLearn It's still pretty spooky at first selecting a move and having to choose its distance, angle, and from a drop down menu lol
(Still an improvement though. Old quick slash was the most annoying thing in the game for me)
@@dolphin6756 It's been widely regarded as a problem, which is why we're here.
