Sherlock Holmes The Awakened | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

I'm a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes games and have archived various titles already in the past. The original Sherlock Holmes The Awakened was one of the weaker parts despite it awesome source material of Cthulhu and its Lovecraftian influences. But the game was very small in scale and lacked atmosphere in various parts like the Asylum. Now many years later we get a remake and I am happy to say that this version is the better of the two. It is still a mixed bag with some pretty repetitive sections, but there were actually a few pleasant surprises and twists compared to the original. Now at least many of the places you visit feel alive with many characters roaming the streets with whom you even can interact with. Some of the puzzles like the finale were pretty tedious though and I still wished they had done more with Cthulhu itself. I hope that they will also remake Sherlock Holmes VS Jack The Ripper, because that is my favorite entry in the entire franchise.

The writer(s) of this game seem to think that in a Holmes adventure all character interactions should be exclusively antagonistic.
