The only compromise i did while purchasing this car is its low averages. In city bumper to bumber traffic it never goes more than 8.5 kmpl. On highway its more than 18 kmpl
You have to get your facts right. The 8.5 you mentioned is in bumper to bumper traffic. In moderate city conditions the 1.0 AT gives 12 to 13 and 19 to 20 on highways. I drive a creta petrol which is a NA engine and it returns similar mileage.

Which Petrol vehicle providing around 100PS power provides more than 8.5 kmpl in bumper to bumper? If you are getting that, it's actually amazing
8.5 kmpl is still a good figure in my opinion. Unless you have previously owned a Maruti

I know .. and also learnt to flow with such traffic.. it actually never helps to reach earlier by hard accelerating n sudden braking which I could see lot of guys doing.. someone from Mumbai can understand this better. All sprint is done on Pune expressway and love the way it pushes even in a range of 90-120 kinda range

I have the slavia and you can easily extract 11-13 kmpl in city and about 18 kmpl on highways if driven sedately.

2. Mileage City - 10-11 & Highway 15-16 ,...100-120 feels so stable & confident.... I wonder what 1.5 would be like !!

@@rishav120 Highline... it's near complete package... automatic transmission was priority... still of you don't want to miss out anything, go for topline.

But City's 1.5 I-VTEC is a much better engine than 1.0 tsi and it costs cheaper, especially in the lower variants of the Honda City.
