- In this video I will describe how to reach the TOP of Germany. I mean from Munich to Zugspitze within one day and how much it costs.
You will know how to get from Munich to Garmish-Partenkirchen, then further to Eibsee, and finally get into Zugspitze Cable Car.
But the most important thing, I show which ticket you need to buy to cover all your trip to the TOP of the moutiain.
Enjoy.
Thank you for the helpful information! You just made my upcoming trip to Germany even better. Thank you.
Awesome video. I'm going there in 2 weeks! Danke
Incredibly helpful, thank you!! I’m in Munich for the week now and we’re headed to the zugspitz tomorrow. Very excited!
This was really helpful for my trip to Zugspitze! Thanks!
Nice. Thanks so much. I went to neuschwanstien castle in the march but missed this. Will have to go to Munich again
Wow.. exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for the information
You are welcome!
Too videos! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing this information ❤
Any time!
As the name suggests, it is only available during summer season applicable between May and November. You can go for Combination Ski ticket during winters.
Great information!!! Much appreciated!!! There is only a little information when it comes to Zugspitze. And what we could find was way too confusing. So, Thanks a lot!!!
Hi, glad it was helpful.
But what is unclear about getting to the mountain? I can answer.
I meant other RUclipsrs. I didn't mean you because your information was crystal clear. Thanks.@@TheWeisswurstChannel
Thank you for such a nice informative video. But the 'Garmisch Summer Ticket' is only available from May to November 30th.
So, for this time in winter season I think the cheapest option is to buy a 49€ 'Deutschland Ticket' and then buy a 68€ ticket for the Cogwheel train and cable car ride (round trip) from Zugspitze station.
If you have any other suggestions please let me know. I have a plan to visit 'Zugspitze' from Frankfurt next week.
Can you guide how to take that €68 ticket. How to buy it from DB app?
Yes, you can do like this. But check the weather very carefully before you go. There's a big chance that the cogwheel will not elevate you to the very top because of weather.
iss this the same for december not skiing?
Can i purchase ticket once im in zugspitze to go up ?
Hi, is how comfortable is to take strollers in the cable car ? Or is it possoble to keep the stroller in eibsee . Thanks in advance
Can i buy tickets on place
May I know if we could buy the Winter Combo ticket. at the DB Travel Center (Reisezentrum) in the Hauptbahnhof?
Yes, you can do it there.
Thank you very much for the information :), can you may be also provide how much time will we be spending between each stop, coz I was wondering if we can spend some time in Eibsee lake at return and then later return to munich.
Hi, trip around Eibsee is approximately 1.5 hours (and it is really worth doing). So it is totally possible to visit the mountain and go around the lake.
Trip on the top of the mountain will not take a lot of time (2 hrs maximum), because there literally nothing to do. Except if you want to do some skiing.
Oh! That’s great, thank you for your reply 👍🏼
we went there last week and this is the best option ✌🏼thanks a lot. An additional tip, try catch the earliest train to Garmish, coz the later trains got delayed by 2hrs and half the day was gone.
Is the round trip ticket good for one day only? Can you overnight at Garmischet and come back to Munich the next day?
Hmm. Not sure frankly speaking. I think it will not work.
Garmischet sommer ticket, this ticket is include for
-Round trip from Munich to Garmisch Partenkichen by DB train(local train no ic ice)
-Zugspitze ticket (Round trip for cogwheel train and cable car
Is it right or not?
Thanks for your in formation.
Yes, correct. Just don't forget to exchange it on cogwheel train/cable car ticket when you will arrive to Garmish.
@@TheWeisswurstChannelMany thanks for your in formation.
@@TheWeisswurstChannel is it only valid for certain time? like in sommer only? Thanks.
Is it close any days of the week.? Does anyone knows?
It may be closed because of weather. That's why you need to check it first in winter.
Hi! Thanks for sharing the information. I will be visiting Munich in September and will be getting the 49€ Deutschland ticket.
May I know if we can use the Deutschland ticket to arrive at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and then get a “Ticket Zugspitze” for 68€ for cogwheel train and cable car?
Hi! Yes, you can do like this.
I’m staying in Garmisch. 🤔
