//ABOUT ANA Business Class Boeing 787-9
Flying ANA 787-9 business class from Tokyo to Los Angeles was a good experience. The standout was the exceptional crew-attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. The culinary journey onboard was equally impressive, with a delightful menu showcasing Japanese or Western flavors. However, the seats felt a bit dated, lacking the modern amenities and privacy expected in premium cabins. Departing from Tokyo Haneda Airport was a highlight, offering a seamless and pleasant experience. While the aging seats may leave room for improvement, the stellar service and culinary delights make this flight worthwhile, especially for those looking to savour the charm of Tokyo's Haneda Airport.

I either fly from LAX or SFO to Bangkok, with a layover in Tokyo in business class, I flown this route a few times and I’ve always enjoyed my flights with ANA, one time I flew with Cathay Pacific, I enjoyed their business class as well, I am very low maintenance, feed me a meal as soon as possible turn off the cabin lights and let me go to bed, I always sleep a solid 6 to 6 1/2 hours, From Tokyo to Bangkok, I will get in another four hours, I have another trip coming up in July so I’m just reviewing flight reviews lol thank you for the video

Try to catch ANA The Room Business Class. I have just been earlier in May and it is an exceptional experience to fly over the Pacific. They have it for the 12:20pm flight from SFO every day and I believe there is one from LAX daily.

Interesting, & timely. I’m about to book with SQ for NRT-SIN-DXB for a trip in the fall, and one of the options is to do the NRT-SIN leg on an ANA 789 like this one. Will have to do more research before I choose that option, or just go straight SQ.

I would go with SQ if I were you. NRT-SIN is considered a short flight, and the amenities and food are on the low side. Check our ANA 789 review between SIN and HND on our youtube channel. SQ wins in all areas.

I prefer the aisle seats along the sides of aircraft. The side table between the seat and the aisle makes getting out of bed (in the lie flat position) to use the restroom very awkward for anyone who is not a contortionist. The seat against the window is also a bit ‘economy class-like’ and claustrophobic.
The Western main meal options on this flight look rather limited to me, with just 2 choices - a steak or fish. Plus a small appetizer and some bread. The dessert selections are very underwhelming, as well. I am actually quite surprised.

Personally, I think the aisle seats are lacking privacy, that feels like economy for me. For a longer flight, I prefer to sleep, so closer to window is more private. Between SIN-HND there is no difference though. I think most of the airlines have 3 food options in their business class menu, it was the same here if you include the Japanese one. As mentioned there, the steak was memorable.

@@PremiumTravelClub I am more used to QR’s QSuite and Delta One, which have doors that alleviate the privacy issue for seats along the aisle. If not those, I prefer the reverse herringbone designs. I find the window seats with a side table blocking easy aisle access very claustrophobic. Nice review, though!

@@pacmanc8103 agree, you cannot compare this with QSuite or Delta One.

ANA its not what it used to be I prefer their 777 over 787 because they have Room seats but their service now its not what it used to be no hot towel nothing really special I will wait for Japan airlines to bring their 350 to LAX then I will fly with them ANA its not worth it to pay more than 4000$ for this kind of business class!

Agree, you cannot compare this with “the room” and the service is going down hill…
