This is the Crest Theater in West Los Angeles on Westwood Blvd. It is now the UCLA Nimoy Theater. The reason why all the equipment is still there is because it is now property of UCLA, and has been for about a year. The Nimoy is in the process of being converted to a live theater as well as a movie theater. The lights were probably on because work was being done on the conversion/restoration. Not abandoned.

This was filmed about 6 years ago after it had been closed for several years it was abandoned. It's been restored now thankfully, they saved this beautiful theater🤘

I would be terrified to go up in this room alone…feels like someone definitely goes/stays up here, but I wouldn’t go to this place alone at night, lol. 2:55
