I just started Unfinished Tales of Númenor and Middle-Earth and The Great Tales of Middle-Earth (Children of Húrin, Beren and Luthien, and The Fall of Gondolin).. I've learned that their all pretty much the same stories that are given in The Silmarillion

Narn i Hin Hurin was a long read, and i recently finished the entire chapter of aldarion and erendis and spoiler the best part i love is when Meneldur reads Gil Galad's letter of the growing shadow that's rising and an allience must be made. And the bizarre part of the chapter is that Erendis resents aldarion for his sea longing and teaches her only child to hate all men. But im mostly excited for your perspective on it when you get there Farewell.
