Great topic! I never realized how much thought, love and care Tolkien put into food and drinks in the Legendarium. I only think about Lembas and the Ent Draught. Maybe you can do a food and drink video for each "book" of LotR or all of them.🙏
I tried to go through the trilogy, however food is not brought up the same way or even the same amount as it is in the Hobbit. Which makes sense, three of your main characters are avid adventurers who are use to not eating for a time and food is just for sustenance. And two of the main characters go a long time without food just surviving on lembas bread crumbs. Two die in the first book, though one does return, but he doesn't have to eat. Finally, two do have more opportunities to eat, but this is rarely spoken about. So a video on food in the LotR books would be very short. But I did try.

The Hobbit was originally a story he told his own kids at bedtime. Kids can visualize food and drinks easier than Orcs and a Dragon.😅

I guess you are right. They definitely eat stuff besides Lembas, but I don't' think what they eat is mentioned, except at the Gate of Isengard when Pippin tells us what they have to eat
