Thank you for this video. A Swisscard Quattro has lived in my wallet since 2001, it has even passed airport security several times because i forgot that i carried it. I also have a spare pair of Swisscard scissors in my wallet. And as my main knife/tool i carry an Victorinox Walker or an Victorinox Tourist or an Gerber Fatty
I have been using this combo for a long time. That glass nailfile you have is also useful as an emergency knife sharpener.

You are most welcome! Someone did ask me if the nail file can sharpen a knife but I have not tried. Good to know! Thanks!

I'm loving carrying the Victorinox Electrician at the moment (2 x blades, awl as a box opener and cap lifter) but I the miss scissors. This is a great call to pair it with. Can't believe I didn't think of it. Thanks 👍

    I didn't even remember that I mentioned this 😅
I still like this combo (mostly with a Pioneer or Cadet), especially in the summer when I don't have many pockets to carry a lot of gear.

    Hey JC,
Great video. I wasn’t aware of that nail care card. I have a couple of the other versions and they are both good for urban carry with a knife.

Growing up my father drilled into me to never leave the house without my wallet, keys, phone. As a result, I carry the Swisscard nail-care in my wallet along with a wallet sized fixed blade, so no matter what I always have a reliable knife with me. Combining those two tools in my wallet has given me unparalleled convenience without compromised performance. I also carry a Gerber Shard on my key-chain and I have the SOG Sync as a belt buckle. My friends call me budget batman.

May I suggest the Bantam (especially in Alox) in place of the Cadet or Spartan...

Thanks! It is a great suggestion. I have a Bantam but not in Alox. An Alox Cadet is thinner than a Bantum in regular scales (I believe). I didn't measure them. But an Alox Bantam is definitely thinner.

But....if you carry the Swiss Champ, you do not have to carry two items. :-p but the nail care swiss card is Airplane safe, so if you have to travel, you can check your knife in and keep the card on you for use onboard. Great video. You almost convinced me to go with a Swiss Farmer Alox and this card.....almost.

I would say yes. But ultimately, it depends on the officer I think. I think the sticking point (pun intended) would be the scissors.
