@@tdrum21 they are indeed
My family is originally from Louisiana. My mom really likes this song 🙂 And now I can jam on it correctly for her.
Really good sounds, thanks for the lesson
You’re very welcome!
Thanks Jeff! It took me a while to get the kick in the right pocket, but after an hour I've nailed it. Sounds real sweet. Greetings from East Germany.
How does Jeff not have more followers. Thanks man. Love your sound and technique
Jeff, for the same reasons, many thanks for your great tutorials ! Clear communication on rythm techniques (and drum recording, engineering..) which is not an easy job.. Keep going man! Anthony (from france).
Fantastic groove, fantastic explanation and fantastic playing,!! Thank you very much!
Appreciate that!
Gonna work on this. Thanks!
Honest to god man, I watch so many RUclips drum videos and yours are the only ones where I truly learn. You’re a great teacher. Have you considered doing online classes or some sort of E-Book? I think you could seriously help lots of drummers grow
Thanks for that feedback! Things are in the works… :)
Awesome lesson. The right hand sounds like a Mozambique pattern to me? Steve Gadd also uses this really nicely outside of the traditional latin genre really nicely as well.
Super slick, thanks
So sick, Jeff. You're as slayin' as I remember, plus 10-ish years of experience and wisdom lol. Great playing, communicating, and editing. Hope to see you in person sometime.
Gavin! Thanks bud. Hope you're well!
Been playing that (make that....think I have been playing that,,) thanks for the correct breakdown.
awesome video man 😎
Aaaaaaaa la détente du dimanche !! Merci 🎉
thank you very much bruv! that's so groovy =)

God bless u bro , xoxox
Sounds great and nicely broken down. Going to have a crack at it this later on.
Right on, hope you have fun with it.
Man I don't know if you will see this, but since I love this beat it got me to thinking I thought you had another vid that was a syncopated ride grove that I now cant find. Did I imagine this or did you need to remove it ?
🔥🔥🔥
Jeff what size/brand snaredrum is that?
❤😮
