Hey Hondo, I just came across your channel and this video, and its awesome! The vibe, the solid info and the great background jams. Keep it up dude, you rock!
Super helpful tips. Great basic overview. And all with such a mellow relaxing delivery. Perhaps a follow up can cover crossover techniques (multitracking to split the signal and compress a clean low end). Learning how to do that technique is amazing for metal or any other genres using that grimy tone. Keep ‘em comin’ Hondo!
I used one in a super nice studio, but not at home. I always shied away from them due to the clunkyness. Is that something you think i should try on the channel?🤔
Awesome tips! Especially the way to avoid clipping. By the way, do you have any tips on using reverb effect on bass (either pedals or plugins), either for adding a little “atmosphere” to the sound, or for playing some ambient stuff?
