Just bought an 03 model that is almost brand new with 27 k on the clock ,. And showroom condition all round and under kept in central heated garage for years. The last five years it did 76 miles " it's auto , quiet, and drives as new.

I've driven every nissan small car from the 70s sunny to the new micra (not all k cars exclusively sold in Japan though) one problem is found after driving the 3rd generation micra was the severe understeer and it continued with all the models (with the exception of some awd models who handle not terrible not good either) and it's not the typical fwd car understeer that you'd find in a corolla Mazda 3 in fact it handle worse than a really old lada niva that I've driven.

I have damp in the boot switch in the winter. It`s only a small switch if you strip it down and can just be dryed out on a warm window sill, It will cause the boot to open all the time and flatter the battery as the lamp is on all the time in the boot. I should park the boot in the sun in the winter.
