A hardy bit of green that doesn't mind salty air is a fine thing to include in the yacht decor. I much prefer this scale of potted plant to the stalky, frondy type of froth.
A wonderful, well done compilation of how the crew gets things done superbly. I can definitely see teamwork and healthy attitudes. I was always curious how seriously they accept their roles and turn it into such excellent professionalism. KUDOS!
It's interesting, starting at about 3:15 and then periodically through the video, you can see the deck hands of the Super Yacht in the background doing their morning routine.
Very nice episode Captain!! You can see all the other yachts getting ready for guests to start their day too. Not to give light to all the special attention paid to guests on yachts. I find it similar to mega Cruise ships and all the attention to the details that are given. The captain and the crew are so important to your experience on board any ship or yacht. Your seem to form a very tight bond with each other and this is topping on the cake for all other experience you have on your adventure. Memory’s for a lifetime. Also some guests that are sticks in the mud make it very challenging for all on board. Glad you guys are out and about enjoy season on board AWOL 😎
I thought the boys did a fantastic job! Very interesting to note that in your chosen profession you actually have to operate in two different career fields. One of course being technically knowledgeable and professional and dedicated to handling the vessels. The other being in the hospitality field of essentially providing guest services, it's an amazing amount of work getting it all right! You really do have an excellent crew! Blessings from this old Tall Ship sailor!
Great new presenting partner on the crew! Yes indeed: what a deckhand does...and why you might want to hire one or two! I LIKE the fine way the yacht is cleaned and set up when they are done with the spaces you show in this video.
Nothing beats a great sense of humour. All seems harmonious as opposed to Below Deck with its angst filled tension and conflict (which I suspect is a set up scripted contrivance) .
was cleaning of the stainless term, real, or just for laughs.... never heard that term on Below Deck, and great to see true real life on white boats, seems a lot more chilled....... application in the mail. lol
thank you for sharing with us what the deck crew do. A very different video for sure. Tristan you should see if each crew member would show us a typical routine for the day. Just a thought. Keep up the great work
Nice to see AWOL doing important work by employing care-in-the-community types, must save on glass cleaning products if they can lick the windows clean... Great video, different, would like to see more!
It’s really nice of these rich folks to set up all the lovely boats so the crew can enjoy them. If I wasn’t 77 decades old, I’d be coming after your jobs. 😂
Nice work i couldn't imagine being cooped up on a boat like that as im a farmer and like 50miles between me and my neighbors, but there is a lot behind the scenes work that goes on to make it look amazing for your guests!!!
Indeed the metal is so named because it Stains Less than conventional Steel. Pity the deckhand paid zero attention at school as is shown by his schoolboy so-called-sense of humour.
Ding Dong was cleaning of the stainless term, real, or just for laughs.... never heard that term on Below Deck, and great to see true real life on white boats, seems a lot more chilled....... application in the mail. lol
What time do you start the morning set up? Stainless steel just means it’s easy to clean and does not corrode. Since salt water rusts most metals and harsh winds cause damage to metal, stainless steel lasts longer with no hassles. I’m sure you probably were joking 🙃
Maybe someday you could make a video that we could hear. Also, while you are at it, maybe make one that doesn't make us seasick with the camera jerking around like it did at he beginning of this video.
Good video Tristan on the table your glasses are up open would it be better to leave upside-down so flys midgets extra don't land inside the glasses cups etc ect
I'm sure the customers would just love you saying they have grubby kids 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'm sure they pay enough to let the kids touch the handrails with suncream on 🤣🤣 great video lads 👍
Ding Dong of the Big Decks! I am Big D. That was pegged back in my radio days working at radio stations. It actually stands for "Capital Letter" of my first name (Don). Capital D doesn't ring, so Big D it is. BWAHAHAHAHA
there was an ep on Below Deck when two deckhands painted their chests for the thirsty gay charter guests, and used exactly the same term, though one assumes their reference was elsewhere... this channel is so much better than that drama show.
Most smaller private boats have a small problem with spider-infestations and spider-webs(atleast in northern europe). Is that anything you encounter on a superyacht in the Med?
Re: stainless steels, the quality of stainless steels has been on the decline for 30 years. Its due to manufacturing moving to China, China degrading the product through poor quality control, and difficulty in finding the source materials for stainless steel and plating.
@@givernyjade8350 LoL... many blonds look alike from the pony tail, haha. I could tell it wasn't the C.S. because she would have turned around with a smile. 🙂
Don’t like it, don’t watch it. They’re speaking quietly because guests will be sleeping, Tristan probably doesn’t have time to go and edit sound layers etc.
Stain-LESS Steel just means it stains LESS than Carbon steel. If you had Carbon steel you would be up there with steel wool every day. Stain-LESS Steel definitely stains. If it didn't stain it would be Stain-NEVER Steel.
@Brisdad53 www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/stain Remember when Stainless was originated in the early 1800's. Stain was more the term used for the spots etc - it wasn't considered rust and that definition still hoilds loosely true in the websters definition of today. It was mainly developed more in the 1920's by Henry Manufacturing for gun barrels and that is when the more modern approach came, but the "Staining" stemmed from its origins in the 1800's
Tristan - super curious, I asked a video or two ago as well... Are your glasses from the channel that sponsors? If so can you tell me the brand and model they are???
loved this not at all like the drama on Below Deck anyways what was the vlog called that explains the Chaseboat, cant seem to find it or that Cpts backstory ? name appreciated so I can find it

Not really, no. Cheers😂
A different perspective of AWOL. Quite enjoyable.
+1
He's good on the camera, use him again 👍
Gorgeous can feel the heat already. They seeming to be working a lot harder on the yacht behind you.
Now THIS is the content I sign up for. The little things you never see otherwise.
The chief stewardess has taste. The plant makes such a difference.
It's taking up valuable beer space
I doubt that the guests of AWOL are such drinkers that a plant matters.
@@ccie2325 When your empty vanishes space isn't an issue.

Where is all the below deck drama?! haha
Never seen nor arrogance in the ‘yeeeahhh and clicking every 4 seconds.’ Bell

"CAMERAdery!" Good On You!
Harry did great in this video.
I hope ski season does well for him this year.
Really enjoyable video narrated by Ding Dong :) he should do more videos like this one. Look forward to the next one!
Morning routine in front of Skradin - nice! :)
Great way to start into a new day.
It's not stain"proof" steel, it's stain"less" steel.
Indeed the metal is so named because it Stains Less than conventional Steel. Pity the deckhand paid zero attention at school as is shown by his schoolboy so-called-sense of humour.
@Brisdad53 Nice try but you too are wrong: bfy.tw/P5gU

Fascinating to see the create at work and what goes into making such an immaculate ship.
Guys this is so cool more enjoyable engaging with others 😍
the original name was stains less steel, it was the pr guys that named it stainless steel (yes it does stain).
Interesting information! THANKS!
Great video loved the perspective from the Crew, hope to see more
Very good. Thanks for the insight of what you guys have to do
How about a vlog on what the other crew do during the same time 👍👍
Great video Harry. Enjoyed it a lot. Seems like a few commenters need an extra cup of coffee as well, to get over their grumpiness.
How cool was that, well done, I Wilde like to see more from the crew’s roles and functions, cheers 🍻
I agree. It's nice to meet the crew this way. They did a great job. Now to find the chef video!

This is a great video! Harry was great and Chad is the bomb! just Awesome !!
Great video. Chief Stew is adorable. AWOL A Way of Life is so clever.
As a yacht detailer we always refer to it as hand jobin' the stainless;)
Ding Dong is great, what a humor !

I"m sure you use vinegar on the 316L stainless steel great for stains. love the channel
Hats off to Super Yacht Crew. Amazing behind the scenes insight
Harry: basically I do 25 pull ups and do 5 sets of those to make it 100.
Maths :*confusion*
I counted - he only did 20... LoL. Guess after all of that "wanking of the stainless steel" he couldn't get the last five done. 😏
Only 2 deck crew, not much deck space to open, will certainly be a quick video 🔥
Very interesting, maybe it was just my audio but he was a little hard to hear at times.
Now I understand where she got the name AWOL!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Verry Nice, Thanks for the tour Mr Ding Dong. 👍🏾☕️
How much time do you guys usually commit in morning to prepare the setup for the day from start to finish ? 🙏🏾
I really enjoyed this deck hand; he was funny
This was so funny. 😊
Good video Tristan on the table your glasses are up open would it be better to leave upside-down so flys midgets extra don't land inside the glasses cups etc ect
Nice work guys, Just a quick question, What kind of polish do you use on the stainless?
Mmmm... Skradin... Beutiful place.
Guys, know exactly how you feal on 07am 😴😴😴
Interesting to see the same work going on the boat next door.
Love him and would love to see more of what goes into the daily routines of running all the boats‼️
I'm sure the customers would just love you saying they have grubby kids 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'm sure they pay enough to let the kids touch the handrails with suncream on 🤣🤣 great video lads 👍
No sense of humor I see....
Ce bateau est vraiment magnifique et son équipage est vraiment aux petits soins !!
The whole crew is top notch. Kudoes !
It's easy to sympathize with the lady crew. It can not be easy to be aboard a vessel full of pretty boys and a steel wanker. :))
nice. do one with the kitchen staff! :D
Well done! Can we see a future video tour of the tender?
Do the guests ever rise early and are already wandering around?

He does - though they don't "TOW" him when underway so I wonder where he sleeps on long passages...
@@googlevoicer In a crew berth...
JC1028 - well that’s what makes me wonder if they aren’t all full, why he doesn’t stay aboard all the time. 🤷🏼♂️
Amazing, what a laugh I had watching this!

Ha HA That was good!! Great job on the morning routine!!
question , why do they call the chase boat a chase boat , is it because its tugged alone behind awol and chases it ? lol just interested to get answer
A tender would be stored onboard the mother ship. Chase boat is not.
Skradin is wonderfull!
Hey! Is deckhand like a deck cadet who's training to be a navigation officer? Like a deck cadet?
Well done!!!
Fun video.
Do you keep the guests locked in their cabins until the "Boys" are done?
Brilliant,enjoyed that.
Re: stainless steels, the quality of stainless steels has been on the decline for 30 years. Its due to manufacturing moving to China, China degrading the product through poor quality control, and difficulty in finding the source materials for stainless steel and plating.
Just invest in some more flitz, if you can afford the stainless steel then you can choose which stainless steel you install onboard.
Awesome ....love ya checking out the cute girls on the next boat 😂
well, it has to be done so he might as well do it. 😝
Easy life.
Pleasant geezer.
Great vid, I would complain to the “Captain” about the moodiness of the chief stew... Shouldn’t have to walk on glass because of her. 😂

Getting a bit tired of low speech volume followed by loud music......this has been mentioned numerous times in the past.

Did he say ‘wank’ the stainless steel? 😳🤣......by far those two are the best wankers in the Med! 🤣 great vid thanks......
Is there a difference between deckhand and steward, and if so , which do what
I know he's saying deckhands but it really sounds like dickheads and it gives me a good laugh every single time.
Chad, the master wanker when it comes to polishing the steel 😎
Stainless does. Fittings don't. The last piece of anything that is sold in a roll is too short.
Stain-LESS Steel just means it stains LESS than Carbon steel. If you had Carbon steel you would be up there with steel wool every day. Stain-LESS Steel definitely stains. If it didn't stain it would be Stain-NEVER Steel.
