Great memories playing this in multiplayer…. Maybe hasn’t aged well but if you play any take it for the age is is and relax .. then still a lot of fun to be had 😊👍🏻
I remember one review in the UK saying the jumps into flaming oblivion were "...as fun as having your eyes slowly spooned out". I preferred the visually bland original, Top Gear Rally, which at least had decent control and weight of vehicle and a smooth frame-rate (not that Overdrive isn't visually amazing for the N64) - I did own both games back in the day, Top Gear Overdrive was rarely played.

Nice thorough review! May I ask if the game autosaves? Also does the game warn you beforehand so you take off rumble pak and insert the memory pak ?
É um Jogão ainda demais até hoje ainda esse Top Gear Overdrive.

It was fun for a few days, although admittedly I haven't touched it since.
You can modify the color of your vehicle by holding z in the vehicle selection menu

I just looked up some footage and I'll have to agree with you on that one. I'll pick it up if I ever come across it!
The screens really small and thin for me can’t fix it
A forgotten gem.
