I’ve not flown it yet but specs are better. But you do pay 💰 for it. Comes down to how much a person is willing to spend. Think the NEO is all about budget conscious and beginners. Though, may make for a nice travel drone…just to have something.
Hoverair ProMax , swallow this and spit it out, the features of Hoverair ProMax, cameras, 10-bit HDR, 1TB SD card, Speed lots to say just the whole nine yard of the Promax worth every penny, and blow this away like a Tornado I'm glad I got the Hoverair ProMax this thing can't f*n beat that in miles🔥🔥🥂
@@alexcarino3274 No, you can't compare it to the X1 as it's over a year old to a device that hasn't been launched it. I think you mean compare the X1 PRO being launched in conjunction with the NEO and spec wise, the X1 PRO is better then the NEO and the X1 PRO Max is light years ahead of the NEO with 8K, 10 bit, nice try though. 🤣🤣
@@theaviationarchaeologist8519 Not the X1 PRO, you're referring to the PRO Max which is much more due to the 8K/10 Bit feature. New toys are never cheap but for about $100 more then the NEO, I'll take the X1 PRO with the better specs. I plan on getting both but time will tell. I have the original X1 and I love it, it serves a purpose. I also have 3 DJI drones including the mother 'NEO' , the Avata 2 ;)
@@theaviationarchaeologist8519 No man, you need to do some more research. The new X1 PRO/PRO Max can be flown as drone's using the new Beacon/joystick combo. NEO will sell in 3 packages, stand alone, no controller other then phone which drone flight is restricted, combo two with RC N2 controller for more drone like navigation and combo 3 which includes goggle 3 and motion RC, but you have to buy those controllers JUST like the HoverAir X1 PRO/PRO max. They actually made the Beacon/joystick backwards compatible now so that older X1 users can now also use that to fly it like a drone so NO, it's just JUST for content creators lol
I own a tango 2 fpv remote but other than that looks like i need to buy the dji controller and fpv goggles. Is there a bundle that has all of the things i need?
According to leaks ive seen, its going to come out at only $220 with only the rc n4 controller, but there will be a flymore combo for $350 with extra batteries and a better controller. They will be releasing a cheaper goggle set that you will need to buy seperate.
Most of the 'DJI Bundles' come with a drone, remote, goggles, extra batteries, etc. You can buy accessories separately (but yes, it usually costs more). Doubtful they'll have a 'bundle' without a drone included (if that's what your asking).
They only banned new releases. Drones you already own are fine to use. Even then, they banned them to allow american drone companies to grow, rather then any legitimate security congestion, which is a pretty dumb ban.
@@JohnMark61355 dji shut off all cloud syncing, which means all your flight data would stay only on your device, as of updates, they will come out as usual and will be available for everyone.
*UPDATED 08-29-2024* DJI officially announced it. Sept. 5th, 2024 will be DJI’s official launch! No more rumors! ✅✅✅
September 5th !
@@preformingmonkeyYep…just got it! Was 99.99% sure it wasn’t today. 👍👍👍
Be curious how it compares to Hover X1 Pro and ProMax
I really hope it has full manual control. I haven’t seen that on any of the images yet.
Yeah, until we see some demos…hard to say.

Also I believe it must be registered if used commercially.
Yes! Commercial use requires a Part 107 license…so must be registered here with FAA in USA.
If they made a Mark 2 with vertical video, an SD card slot and a smaller remote I would 100% get that for travel.
Yeah…all about portability and connivence when traveling. I hear ya.
Avata mini?
I was hoping for a tough small cheap FPV drone for me to get into it 😅

You can’t compare pro max to the neo rather compare it to X1 and it beats it 😂

@@MiyagisRant it's also a fuckload more expensive and has NO remote. The X1 Pro is only good for content creators without drone operating skills.

Very welcome!
This will
be dji drone #5
Yoo Dji Neo
I think it looks cool. :)
I got the email about the announcement date, wondered what it was about and came straight here! :D Keep up the great work!
EDIT: Thank you!
Lol..yeah, timed this video just right. 👍👍👍. Thanks!
Disappointed it has no remote ID for 107 pilot's
yes, you would think 'every' drone manufactured by DJI at this point would have RID.
XHOVER competitor
Yeah, we’ll see. I’m hearing the pricing may be a little steep on the XHover.
The video quality looks like garbage on the new X1 pro max. But dji tracking hasent been very good so hopefully dji have made improvements.
Does it have follow me?
Yes, will follow or track you!
I would not buy any Dji drones until the “Chinese drone ban” legislation is settled. I already own three potential door stops.

Only applies to those who live in the Socialist States of America, lol. No bans in Europe or Asia, so I am buying it.
@JohnMark61355 the ban never mentions either of those. Any drones purchased before the ban will work fine for eternity after.
