From a business sense Seattle and Vancouver makes the most sense. They create more gdp by a mile than the other cities and the ownership groups will be able to easily make their money back after the extremely high costs. With that being said it will be Seattle and Vegas, but Vancouver is a better option than Vegas to me.

Who’s gonna be the 4th city? Louisville? Pittsburgh? Tampa? San Diego?
I gotta pick between Louisville or Pittsburgh
    I’d choose Louisville

Somehow the Pistons will get screwed by expansion... Watch the expansion teams pick multiple Pistons players that they can't protect and / or they'll pick right in front of the Pistons in the NBA draft. There're (Spell checker corrected to There're, I didn't even know there're is a thing) but there're too many terrible teams in the NBA already, No need for more teams.

The rant about the rich was unexpected and spot on. And damn, driving and recording, props to multitasking. Apart from that, do you think the NBA will do this round of expansion all at once or stagger the teams out as the NHL has done?

Capitalistic greed sometimes gets me irate (ironic b/c my father is a SBA/entrepreneur)... I gotta get to my job that pays the bills (aka I work and study for my PhD at UMiami) and still put my thoughts out on expansion because we have been keeping tabs on it since like 2021. The NBA will pump out two at the same time, Seattle (which is foregone conclusion) and (more than likely) Las Vegas, any other team is just posturing by the league or the league gets some data from NFL/MLB/NHL that Las Vegas is not good for business (or betting scandal breaks out and sports hate gambling again) then I think Kansas City or Louisville are strong mid-markets that have NBA arenas to go too. Now expansion will happen at the same time because having 31 teams is just weird, just wait till you have 2, then its 32, and put the Grizzles and New Orleans in Eastern Conference if Seattle and Las Vegas join

@@CyroAsseo The NBA does have a history of having an odd number of teams. From 1980 to 2004, the league never once had an even number of franchises for reasons I'm not sure anyone understood. Spreading out the expansions, especially if Vegas needs to build a new arena anyway, lessens the competitive imbalance as well.
I also tend to believe 32 teams means Adam Silver does away with the Eastern and Western conferences.

@@thetouchback Dude I never realized that! I just thought it was seldom years it was odd number of tea. Good looks on that tidbit!
By the way, I actually agree that either top 16 teams make palyoffs or they do some weird NFC/AFC type conferences where they make it to be more about logistics and travel then rivalries
