Hi sir, What to do in a situation if you are on the inside lane on a roundabout and you have to take next exit as its thre 3rd exit and you check left mirror and signal left after 2nd exit but there are 2 cars already on the left lane and speed limit is national speed limit. What do you do in this situation: 1- if you slow down and wait for 2 cars on left to go then you become obstruction and slowing down or stopping the traffic behind you. 2- you go round the roundabout and try again for the same exit.(in this case will you fail your test) Thanks in advance for your response

This is brilliant driving masha'Allah, it just couldn't be any better. I always thought it was important to check your blind spot especially on big and busy roundabouts. I recently did a refresher driving lesson where I was on a roundabout and a vehicle happened to be on my left even though I didn't see them in my left mirror. Some people think it's bad practice to turn your head and check your blind spot because you're taking your eyes off the road. But by checking your blind spot, you're actually keeping your eyes on the road, and avoiding a collision with a vehicle on your left is just as important as avoiding a collision with a vehicle in front of you. It's better to do all your observations than some.

Thank you for this video! I know we should go into inside lane in the roundabout when we go right but how much should I steer in the inside lane? I am always struggling with getting too close to the kerb of the roundabout or crossing to the outer lane. Is there any video to deal with this?
If all instructor will be calm and positive like him learners wouldn't have to worry alot about money and passing the test, all some of them know is how to make money of learners thereby not teaching what they need to know just to keep them down for money

Failed my test last week at the single carriageway it was National speed limit I was drive 50 ! Examiner said because the road narrow you should slow down !
Thank you very much. Your videos are definitely helpful, clear and to the point. Probably the best detailed explanation I have come across. I had my test today and failed cause I didn't follow the Sat Nav's instructions correctly. I had to turn onto the 3rd exit but I remained to the left and was too late to change when I realised I shd have changed to the right lane. And finally entered left on the 2nd exit which I understood was not a good manoeuvre. Which I had seen this video before it would have definitely helped me doing it right although I did this right several times before but just failed to do it right. In a way, its good I didn't pass , as the mistakes done is a learning curve to get it right for safe driving.

Why you signaled on the straight or second exit ? I was taught I must position in the left lane when we are on the round about second exit we do not to turn on the left signal.
Hi Please let me know which signal on the video you're confused about - tell us the time on the video you're talking about. If the 2nd exit is straight ahead then you don't signal on approach, but signal as you are leaving, unless it's a mini roundabouts. But if the 2nd is on the right then you signal right on approach and then as you leave you signal left to leave unless it's a mini roundabout. Hope this helps Take care!
