So when is the UCI raising the bike weight limit to 7.8kg? I can’t believe a team would like a GC contender drag a 1kg heavier bike than Bernal’s rim brake Dogma
: I was hoping the UCI would drop the limit already down to 5,8kg like everybody has been asking them to do(including GCN). I'd like to really see the difference between rim and disc brakes when the disc bike is 2kg heavier on the uphill.
6.8kg is a thing of the past with companies opting for "aerodynamics" and integration (Tarmac, Emonda, Supersix EVO etc are well over 6.8kgs). Funny thing is if you were to buy this in store it would be even heavier due to the heavy integrated KNOT stem/handlebar combo and KNOT 45 clinchers.

Fantastic looking bike...... surprised the (presumably empty) bottles weren’t taken out for weigh in??? And losing aero gains with skewers..... a lot of disc bike go without them..... even my own 😃
Power meter has been removed to lighten up the bike and it is still too heavy.... Not crazy about the fact that bikes from 10 years ago were lighter (and cheaper) than today's bikes. Will not be moving to these new models until they find a way to lighten them up considerably.
Weight is no surprise to me. When the bikes are in such a large frame size they weigh a good bit more than the smaller ones. Wow, that weight really surprises me with all those measures to lose weight. What’s the stock weight of that bike? It must be really heavy with a standard Ultegra groupset.
That weight is unforgivable for the team to not supply him with somthing that is fit for the mountains. 800g could be the difference between podiuming and not. Well done cannondale and well done the bike industry for unilaterally deciding what is best for everyone.
