      I wish you could weigh a 56 frame in this setup, I've just got a 2022 cannondale super six evo hi-mod disc dura-ace di2 2022, top of the line from a year ago, and out of the box with no pedals I got 7.6kg, so 8kg for that is not bad at all

    Quick view, this looks good value for money. Great frameset, great groupset, modern features with cabling and headset spacers for everyone. The wheel are what they are supposed to be: robust for training and cheap so you can upgrade later; aero or climbing. A competitor for Cube Litening C68, which I've been looking at lately. 105 Di2 is not Ultegra Di2 with a last-gen front-derailleur.
    It also lacks servowave braking, buttons on the hoods and it only comes with crazy mountain-bike style gearing (like 50-34 on the front and an 11-36 cassette).

    • @erlendsteren9466
      @erlendsteren9466 Год назад

      Crazy mtb gearing is fantastic, but in addition to the mtb gears you have the big 50 cog. The frontcog on mtb are much smaller, maybe 32. These gears I would love. I have 50-34 and 11-25 on my Wilier. 34-25 is hard for a heavy man going up. This Cannondale has maybe 3 more gears on the light side than my Wilier (28?, 32? and 36). Only bad thing with this Cannondale is that tyre clearance looks narrow.

    • @scottwelfare7311
      @scottwelfare7311 Год назад +1

      Yep, I totally agree Sarah. I made similar comments too in an earlier video as well. You can also attach satellite shifters to the Ultegra shifters, you can't attach them to the 105 shifters.
      I've recently purchased a complete Ultegra di2 groupset for my new bike build, as I wanted the extra features Ultegra di2 has that 105 di2 does not have.
      I particularly like the function buttons on the Ultegra shifter hoods that I can now control my Garmin with. 😊
      I don't like touchscreens, prefer buttons.

    I really like the new SuperSix, but I can get a new Propel Advanced 1 with 50mm Carbon Wheels for 300€ more. Giant has lot more value and ne new Propel also looks better (for me).
    But I still want to Testride the new SuperSix.

    4500$ for a heavy non aero bike with cheap shallow wheels and 105. Brainwashed into thinking it's value for money.
    I've build up a gravelbike with the same weight, carbon Elite wheels (drive) wich weigh 1300 grams, Carbon everything, aero cockpit with internal cables, 3D printed fizik saddle, sram axs force/rival with powermeter, tune carbon bottlecages etc. all for 3500$. Oh and it looks way better too.

    You can call it an aero bar all you want, but there is nothing aero about that bar. Yes, it has flat tops. But so have plenty of decidedly non aero bars going back for years. With that much wrap you are getting exactly zero aero benefits from whatever smaller cross section does actually exist under there. The wrap is literally thicker diameter than the round section of the bar. Aero in name only.
