One of The Best Now Albums Ever Made.
@@timmybegley6789 I hear you, I really like this one too! 😁
For anyone who didn't know. PJ & Duncan (Ant and Dec) reappeared on this Now album with "Lets Get Ready To Rhumble" (which came out in 1994) becuase they performed it on their show "Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway"
My favourite songs on here are Get Lucky, Blurred Lines, Let Her Go, I Love It, Waiting All Night, Gentleman and Gentleman
Here's my rankings on Taylor Swift's albums as of August 2024:
110% 🤩: 1989 (2014), Red (2012)
95% 🥰: Folklore (2020), Evermore (2020), Lover (2019)
90% 😎: Speak Now (2010), Fearless (2008), Debut (2006)
85% 😁: The Tortured Poets Department (2024), Midnights (2022)
80% 😀: Reputation (2017)
So the fact I now love all of Taylor's albums just shows that I'm now a Swiftie (a fan of hers) though I do respect your opinion if you find her rather overrated but still like her 👌
2:26 My favourite song from this tracklist
Ella Eyre is underrated 🤩
Considering that we agree about all the Nows from 70-79 being strong, I also find all Nows from 85-94 good too, with 89 the weakest if I had to pick.
I think I agree, what's funny as well is that I find 89 and 90 roughly on par with each other, with 90 being slightly better maybe however, you seem to rate 90 quite a bit higher than 89. I also don't think there's an awful lot between 87 and 89 either with 87 being a bit better maybe with 88 being hands down the best NOW of 2014. I also think 87 would be on par with 88 if not BETTER had it included all those missing songs like 'Trumpets' by Jason Derulo, 'Magic' by Coldplay, 'Air Balloon' by Lily Allen, 'How I Feel' by Flo Rida, 'Can't Remember to Forget You' by Shakira & Rihanna, 'Stay the Night' by Zedd featuring Hayley Williams plus others too, such a shame they were all missed off as quite a few of those songs are actually really good!
@@robertatkinson1347 I totally agree with all of that, 2014 is one of the best years of music, with 87 only slightly behind 88 for me. Air Balloon is definitely better than Lily's previous song, Somewhere Only We Know, which is on Now 86 and is Keane's original version and 86 is the best Now of 2013 with 85 in second and 84 the worst.
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 yeah 2014 had awesome music, also as well would you say that 87 is better than both 85 and 86?
@@robertatkinson1347 yes I would, though I still really like 85 and 86. My rankings of the Nows from 85-94 would go:
Superb
88
87
Great
90
91
86
94
Decent
92
85
93
Good
89
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 I'm surprised you find 90 the best NOW of 2015 as I find it the weakest my order for that year would definitely go 91, 92 with 90 last. Which also means as well for the years 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 you find the winter NOWS released in those years the weakest ones. Though out of 89, 92, 95 & 98, 98 is definitely the worst.
As much as I like Selena, I really like her music when she was with a band called The Scene (Selena Gomez & The Scene) and it's still a shame Naturally wasn't on the heavenly wholesome Now album, 76 👌
@sddk2k8thenowthatswhatical66 yes I can remember when I made my predictions for NOW 76 that song was there, other misses for that album of course include 'Telephone' by Lady Gaga & Beyonce, 'One Shot' by JLS, and 'Wear My Kiss' by Sugababes, especially Wear My Kiss as at least JLS were on there with 'The Club is Alive' as was Gaga with 'Alejandro'.
@@robertatkinson1347 I totally agree with those 3 songs too 👍 but yes, it's a good thing that Gaga and JLS were on the album 👌 this is what I think the tracklist should've looked like:
CD1:
1. California Gurls
2. I Like It
3. The Club Is Alive
4. OMG
5. Gettin' Over You
6. All The Lovers
7. Just Be Good To Green
8. Nothin' On You

18. Can't Be Tamed
19. My First Kiss
20. Turn It Up
21. Baby
22. Solo
23. Carry Out
CD2:
1. Telephone
2. She Said
3. This Ain't A Love Song
4. Wavin' Flag (Coca-Cola Celebration Mix)
5. Ridin' Solo
6. Wear My Kiss
7. Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart
8. She's Always A Woman

10. Once
11. I Need You Tonight
12. Kickstarts
13. One (Your Name)
14. Rock That Body
15. All Night Long
16. Your Love Is My Drug
17. One Shot
18. Candy
19. Dirty Picture
20. Until You Were Gone
21. We Dance On
22. Frisky
23. Shout for England
Waka Waka (For The First Time) by the Amazing Shakira also could've been on the album too and I also left out Rihanna: Te Amo, since it didn't chart quite as high as the likes of Russian Roulette & Rude Boy (Now 75) and Only Girl (In The World) (Now 77) but only beacause there was a lot of songs that missed oppurtunity for the album. Speaking of Only Girl, including S&M, they're probably my favorite Rihanna songs with Hips Don't Lie and Waka Waka being my favorite Shakira songs but it's a hard one as the latter are some of my favorite musicians, especially Shakira 💗
Also here's my rankings on Selena's albums including the ones with her former band The Scene from 2008-2011/12 and her 2021 latin pop e.p:
100% 😍: Stars Dance (2013), Revival (2015), Rare (2020)
95% 🥰: When The Sun Goes Down (2011), A Year Without Rain (2010), Kiss & Tell (2009)
80% 😀: Revelación (2021)
As far as musicians who I prefer more than Ariana, Selena is now one of them for me because of her mature image, meaningful and relatable lyrics including her personallity. I used to find Selena and Ariana about on par with each other with Ariana being slightly better musically for me before, I still like Ariana but she's also definitely not a musician that I love as much as I love Taylor and Meghan Trainor either nowadays and although my mom is an Arianator (Ariana fan), I definitely handle her opinion on that

Now 85 marks the first appearances of Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Iggy Azalea, Fuse ODG, Paramore, Imagine Dragons, Ella Eyre, Big Sean, Duke Dumont, The 1975 and Tom Odell, only appearances of Gabz, Sebastian Ingrosso, Chris Malinchak, Breach, Union J and Charlie Brown, final appearances of PJ & Duncan, Akon, Wiley, Tinchy Stryder and Psy and guest appearances of AME, Tommy Trash, Trevor Guthrie and Louis M tters
Hi Rob, by the way, you put "Lets get ready to Rumble" instead of "Lets get ready to Rhumble" for disc 1 track 16.
Thanks, will change it now 🙂
My favorite songs are Walks Likes Rihanna Play Hard This Is What It Feels Like Bounce Still Into You Lights On Hey Porsche Treasure Lighters (The One) #thatpower The Other Side Antenna Dear Darlin Ture Love La La La Waiting All Night I Need Your Love Love Me Again and Carry You
Some of the edm songs from 2013 are unique, which makes them really good songs and it makes this album very good too, despite 86 being a little bit better than this one, but not by much. 82, 83, 87 and 88 are all even better, as they're all that good, whereas you prefer this one and 86 over 82 and 87 and both slightly weaker than 83 and 88, but not by much.
Yeah 83, 85, 86 and 88 are my favourite NOWS of the 80s with 87 not too far behind them, 80 is the worst that's for sure 👌
@@robertatkinson1347 I totally agree about your worst album choice 👌 the unique edm songs also make 2013 a very good year of music and is the sixth best year of the 2010s. It's also on par with 2016 for Nows and music, if not better.
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 yeah and also 86 and 87 finish 2013 and begin 2014 better than 89 and 90 finish 2014 and begin 2015.
@@robertatkinson1347 yeah 87 is a bit better than 90 though 90 is still great and I actually find it slightly better than 86 though 86 is indeed better than 89, which is still solid.
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 I don't really rate 90 to be honest, yes 87 is definitely better than it and I definitely prefer 86 over it as well. 90 is on par with 89 in my opinion though maybe slightly better but it's definitely my weakest NOW of 2015 with 91 being my favourite. 92 is also great only a bit weaker than 91 in my opinion though definitely better than 90. 90 is also my second weakest spring NOW of the 90s after 96.
1:21 was the first song i saw on ukhot40
Taylor Swift : "22"
#1: Get Lucky, Blurred Lines, Mirrors, La La La, I Love It, Love Me Again, Let's Get Ready To Rumble, Waiting All Night and Need U (100%)
Union J are my favorite pop group
In my opinion, Now 85 and Now 86 are on par with each other and are both better than Now 84
Agreed 👍
That alumb is my favourite because I love union j called curry you and all of them
Strangely their only appearance on a NOW as well, despite having a few high charting songs.
Play Hard samples Alice Deejay: Better Of Alone from Now 43 and both songs are great
Sure does, and yes I agree👌
@@robertatkinson1347 it's just as good as when Flo Rida sampled Eiffel 65: Blue (Da Ba Dee) in his song Sugar and same applies to when David Guetta sampled Blue (Da Ba Dee) in his song I'm Good (Blue) as wel and I prefer both songs to the original, although I know you prefer Blue (Da Ba Dee) and I'm Good (Blue) over Sugar.
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 yes I do but 'Sugar' is ok 👌
@@robertatkinson1347 Baby Don't Hurt Me on 115 is amazing and is just as good as Haddaway: What Is Love (Now 26)
I Think It’s Quite A Shame That Sara Bareilles’ Song “Brave” Missed This Album!
It marked the double appearances of Pharrell Williams and Dizzee Rascal
I Have That CD
Now 85
Sub Focus & Alex Clare: Endorphins should've been on here, as it peaked at #10 in the charts.
Other songs I think should have been on:
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Ray Dalton - Can't Hold Us
Arctic Monkeys - Do I Wanna Know (was on Now 86)
The Script - If You Could See Me Now
Olly Murs - Army of Two
Bastille - Laura Palmer
Wretch 32 feat. Shakka - Blackout
Stooshe - Slip
Lawson feat. B.o.B - Brokenhearted
2 Chainz feat. Wiz Khalifa - We Own It (Fast and Furious)
K Koke feat. Rita Ora - Lay Down Your Weapons
AlunaGeorge - Attracting Flies
Iggy Azalea - Work
Little Mix feat. Missy Elliott - How Ya Doin'
Clean Bandit - Mozart's House
Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull - Live It Up
Taylor Swift feat. Ed Sheeran - Everything Has Changed
Mariah Carey feat. Miguel - #Beautiful
Another Love is a little bit depressing, but still an ok song. The worst songs on here though are: Come & Get It, Bounce, Lost & Not Found and Jack.
I actually quite like 'Lost & Not Found' and 'Come & Get it' is ok, though 'Bounce' and 'Jack' are both pretty awful especially Jack, that's the worst song on the album for me personally, though this is a solid NOW overall, definitely better than 84.
@@robertatkinson1347 agree about this being better than 84, as well as the fact we both agree that there's not much between this one and 86, though you prefer this one slightly more and I prefer 86 slightly more. Best songs on here are: Get Lucky, I Love It, The Other Side, 22, Treasure, Let's Get Ready To Rhumble, Antenna, Still Into You, Radioactive, #thatPOWER, Play Hard, I Need Your Love, Feel This Moment, Reload, This Is What It Feels Like, Lights On and Goin' Crazy.
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66Yeah there really isn't much between this one and 86 at all maybe 86 is slightly better but it's so close, and I also really like 'Chocolate' by the 1975, and this of course is their first appearance on a numbered NOW :)
@@robertatkinson1347 yeah Chocolate is good, as well as Gentleman and yes this is the first Now that The 1975 has appeared on. 83, 85, 86 and 88 are probably your favorite Nows of the 80s overall.
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 yeah I would probably say so, though 82 and 87 are also good and 81 and 89 are the good side of average, and like you I think 80 is the weakest from the 80s followed by 84.
The Way By MAC Miller and Ariana Grande should Have Been On Now 85!
Same to Macklemore can’t hold us
5 David guetta feat ne- yo & akon play hard
4 will.i.am feat Justin bieber # that POWER
3 wanted walks like Rihanna
2 Taylor swift 22
1 the nighteen seventy five chocolate
I'm surprised Union J: Beautiful Eye didn't make Now 86, as they were on here with Carry You
Yeah it's strange that 85 was their only NOW appearance, as they had quite a lot of successful hits.
@@robertatkinson1347 I also believe that Iggy Azelea & T.I: Change Your Life could've been on that album, as she's on here with Bounce.
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 Yeah it's a weird one with T.I. as both of his NOW appearances were on the same album, that of course being NOW 72 with 'Live Your Life' and 'Dead and Gone', pretty sure he hasn't had any more anyway.
@@robertatkinson1347 I also think Union J could've been on Now 90 with You Got It All
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 yeah it's weird that they were only on NOW 85, as they had three other top ten singles which weren't on any NOWS those being the one you just mentioned 'You Got it All' (peaked at #2) 'Beautiful Life' (peaked at #8) and 'Tonight (We Live Forever)' (peaked at #9).
Better than 84 in my opinion
Agreed, though I like them both. All NOWS of 2013 are good in my opinion 🙂
@@robertatkinson1347 in terms of music, the early and mid 2010s are better than the late 2010s, with 2017 being the weakest year of that decade, in terms of music. What do you think Rob 🙂
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 yeah that sounds about right, 2017 and 2019 are my least favourite years from 2015-2019 the rest are pretty good.
@@robertatkinson1347 yeah 2015 and 2016 are the best years from the later half of the decade.

Listening to this makes me sad about just how bland and boring music is about to become. I can't be the only one who finds minimal beats and slurred speech the worst thing ever.
Nah some of these are decent, i'd take this tracklist over the current charts even if there are still some really bad songs on here too
What region code?
it's UK
As much as I dislike Bounce, I can see why it's on here instead of Work, because Bounce peaked at #13 and Work peaked at #17, though both songs are Iggy's weakest songs overall.
I'm not really a fan of Iggy Azalea at all if I'm honest, and I don't like her song 'Problem' (featuring Ariana Grande who's music I also don't like) on NOW 88 either.
@@robertatkinson1347 yeah my favorite songs from Ariana are No Tears Left To Cry and Rain On Me (by Lady Gaga).
@@sddk2k8theavabebezaraduafan66 it's also so weird as well that both 'Rain On Me' and 'Rockstar' were both on NOW 107 instead of NOW 106, and both 'Savage Love' and 'Head and Heart' got to number one AFTER those songs and they were both on 106 of course.
@@robertatkinson1347 it is, it really is.
I also think that Emellie De Forrest: Only Teardrops should've made this one, as it was the Eurovision winning songs of 2013 and the fact Loreen: Euphoria, which was the Eurovision winning song of the previous year was on Now 82.
