Amazing how I remember this road! I lived in Merton Way from a baby to the age of 9. I went to Oak Farm school, shopped at the Cabin for my mum went to a dreadful dentist on Long Lane. All this was long agao, from the late 40s. Mind you, when I met the girl who was to become my wife, turned out she grew up just round the corner from me and went to Oak Farm too!
