The cost of living crisis appears to be a global problem, although here in the UK it has been made worse by the increase in the prices of many goods. The prices of gas and even electric bills has increased drastically, I believe that the government can bring into play a policy that helps reduces inflation, but for some reason, I don't think they are concerned about how the common person would do in these strangely challenging times.
It’s crazy how expensive things have become here in the UK, electric bills are high and the prices of goods keeps increasing by the day and the PM doesn’t care.
@@hanshkumar2764 I experienced many ups and downs working several jobs during these extremely difficult times. I'm relieved that my investments have begun to gain value so I can stop working. Investing in some growth and money-valued stocks has really saved me.

How much newyork accomodation for living as a single person who wanted to live in newyork, and which type of jobs available in this country which one is better for living London or newyork?
Hi guys, Thanks a lot to share such great informations, But what is the minimum wages in London with working hour . How much a normal person can earn within month.
You don’t mention the knife crime rate that affects so many black kids in poor estates in London. The police are at their wits’ end regarding this. I am surprised that you don’t mention this yet you put a spin on life here, in London. Houseshares here are very stressful also, especially Indian ones. The landlords for these properties can be really horrible and the housemates just as bad. You would think that since such landlords are also British Asians or just Indians, they would have good manners but they just shout and threaten people like us. This is because they are trying to be like white people who are not all like this, mind. Also not all people can afford such high prices and rates of rent and council tax. So many of us have lost our homes and livelihoods during this pandemic. I think you are in for a culture shock once you realise how people are, and life is, here.
Thanks for this informative video. I had a question - between NY (living in NJ) and London at a profile and work experience similar to Prashant, where would you save more ? It would also be great if you factor in long term prospects (PR, citizenship etc.) over and above cost of living. I have started watching your videos and find them informative (good work 👍), but am not sure if some video on this subject already exists on your channel, so kindly excuse in that case. I am basically coming with these questions from a profile similar to Prashant but post 11 YOE working in India thinking of whether making a move to US or UK or perhaps any other developed economy , makes sense at this stage or not?
@@sucharitaaikat5525well we have a lot of knife crime amongst our kids in London especially in our poor, violent estates. These Indians are refusing to present the right image of London which is sad.
Hi! I am currently working in the US. However, due to VISA issues, I have to decide between living in the US or UK. I would love to hear your perspective on it. Why did you move? what is your experience, please share more
Tides are turning. A white-collar professional working in Indian MNC can have much better lifestyle + savings compared to London. for an equivalent job in London, a person in London can make only ends meet. But in Mumbai he can afford to have good life style with at least 50% savings (and this where you can afford to take an housing EMI too). I last one year I was invited for full time job in Netherlands, London, and Sydney. and for same job in India I think I am living more grand life.
Also for doctors, i m a mbbs+ md +1y sr ship in india, on average all my colleges earn around 2-2.5-3L / month depending upon who many hours u r working. But many of my seniors r in uk, after becoming consultant (after 7years of training in uk) they r earning 68-75 k £. In hand i.e. after tax+ national insurance is around 4.2k£. Easily living cost 2.5-3.5k £. Disposable income only 1-1.2k £. /pm 😂 after decades of studying & experience.
Totally agree with you dude, I had an offer from London last year and I refused that after realizing that my savings are going to be more or less same at both London and Mumbai even after compromising on my living standards in London.
