Toto was my childhood! I probably watched this concert DVD 100+ times. Toto has always been known as an amazing live band. A few other great live performances worth checking out by them: Georgy Porgy (Live in Paris 1990) -> Groovy! Such fun, so underrated! I Won't Hold You Back (Live in Paris 1990) -> Power ballad by the same lead singer (Lukather), but 13 years younger. White Sister (Live in Amsterdam 2003) -> Original lead singer back in the band here and he's going wild on this one.
Lukather is one of the most underrated guitarists in the last 40 years. TOTO, is the best live bands you could ever hear. All of them are top notch players Just a hell of a band
This is an excellent cover of a timeless classic! It was written by George Harrison of the Beetles in 68 with Eric Clapton playing lead guitarist, although he wasn't formally credited on the album. And the award show you mentioned was actually the induction ceremony of George Harrison at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His son, Dhani, was one of the guitarist on stage with Prince, Tom Petty and others. You can't miss him, he's the youngest person up there. You should probably react to the original now that you've heard other covers. Enjoyed your reaction!
I like Santana featuring India Irie's version but the best is Tom Petty and Others on the rockn roll hall of fame with Prince on the guitar OMG its great❤
Better? Better is a subjective term. The musicianship here is light-years ahead of the Beatles, and there isn't anyone alive who would dispute it. Lukather vs Harrison? Lol. Jeff Porcaro vs Ringo? Please!

This mans name is Steve Lukather, and he was the Other guitarist on Michael Jacksons' "Beat It". He is widely regarded as one of the best.

I wanted to hear someone react on this solo my whole life, this concert in particular made me fall in love with rock music
Toto- Hold the Line.
Also Rosanna.
Beyond Magnificently Magical ❤️🔥
Timeless piece of music.
This band members have played on MJ records, Quincy Jones and hundreds and hundreds of famous big albums.
I like Santana featuring India Irie's version but the best is Tom Petty and Others on the rockn roll hall of fame with Prince on the guitar OMG its great❤
My absolute favorite!!
Nice song and reaction. Hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season followed by a fabulous 2024.
Hold the line
Love isn't always on time
Africa
Live, you have to be looking at Rosanna, Hold The Line, Pamela, Can't Stop Loving You...
I think he’s done the big ones. Try “I Won’t Hold You Back” with Lukather writing, singing, great solo. ❤
You should check out Toto’s cover of House of the rising sun!
Luke rocks my world!
Same bass chord progression as 25 or 6 to 4, Seven Nation Army, Brain Stew, and probably more that I’m forgetting.
My favorite version is by The Jeff Healey Band
Toto is a band that has been together for over 40 yrs! Prince didn’t even practice his solo with Tom petty and his crew. Big difference.
Prince can not even compare to Steve Lukhater, as legend of course, but as a guitarist he is no way near man
@@stefanblazic4316 who?😂😂😂😂
❤ Please do more Teddy Swims 🙏
Africa and Rosanna
Can you react to MC Abdul Let It Rain
Steve Lukather is significantly more skilled and with tastier solos regardless of what genre than Prince ever was (no shade on Prince).
Roseanne
The original was done by the Beatles and it’s better than this version.

you my friend do not know shit about music clear as daylight
@@ruserious9577I concur!
The Tom Petty, Santana and Prince Solo is much much better!
