  • Villa Rotonda. Vicenza, Italy. Palladio’s masterpiece copied by the White House.
    Must see if you are in Vicenza. Spectacular architecture, breathtaking affreschi, first private house in the world with a square open space and internal dome previously used only for religious buildings.
    You seriously MUST see this video before you visit it.

    Thank you for the enlightening tour and pronouncing Monticello properly. I always pronounce it in the Italian and Americans look at me like they don't know what I'm talking about.

      Ciao Davide. Sono contenta ti sia utile! Perché ho notato che agli italiani non interessano tanto i miei videos sull’architettura o su cosa visitare in Italia. Forse sono abituati e quindi non interessa molto. Ho pensato che agli stranieri interessasse di più. 🥰

    I've always wanted to see the interior of this building. I got to see the exterior, bit it was not open inside the day I visited. Wish I could see the attic story!

      @@VitainFlorida There are not a whole lot of interior photos (other than the rotonda itself) on the internet. It was interesting to see the other rooms on the main floor (they get upstaged by the rotonda). I really would love to see the rooms in the upper and lowest floors. Did you get to see those?

    • @VitainFlorida
      @VitainFlorida  2 года назад +1

      @@jelsner5077 unfortunately I did not. The lower floor was opened only to art students on a different day. I have no idea about the upper floor, but I would have loved to see it as well. I am glad i was able to show you even just a small part of the interior. It was actually beautiful!!!
