That looks incredible. Maybe a tad bit contrasty if I'm going to nitpick anything, but even that is a reach. I really love the windows. It's a great blend of the solid white light look of the show, but with just enough detail/color variation to make you feel like there was actual internal space behind them. Another nail in the coffin of the, "they had to introduce the Enterprise-E because the D was designed for TV and wasn't cinematic enough for the big screen" theory I heard for decades. I completely understand all of the other reasons the producers wanted to create a new ship for the movies, but from the very first time I read/saw that theory I always thought it was total BS. I always thought that time and budget were what was holding the Ent-D back from looking more "cinematic" on screen, not the actual design itself. Seeing videos like this make me feel very validated in my opinion.
@@thesnesman5235 And that kind of falls into the time/budget restraints of the TV show. The model was a pain to work with, but with enough time and manpower, it was still possible to make it look really good. They actually had quite a few more beauty shots of the Enterprise planned for Generations, but the movie’s budget was cut late in pre-production and many of these new shots were scrapped. In any case, there were a lot of reasons to introduce the Enterprise-E in the films. But I’ve always called BS on the “Enterprise-D isn’t cinematic enough for the big screen” excuse. The design is fantastic, and the ship looks great in a widescreen format.

This is my FAVORITE beauty pass of the D. Thank you for lending your creative talents and giving us this modern version!

That looks stunning
This is great, hoping you'll expand on the Kelvin timeline Oberth video - that was phenomenal!
That one clip instantly made me want to explore that universe more

@@pokes404 Especially when the camera / viewpoint is freed up to get dynamic.
I'm curious, how long does it take you to make one of these shots, and are you doing it alone?
I have a question where did you get the revenge of the sith deleted scene footage ?
What do you mean?

@@fintheclonetrooper5039 Ohhh. That was a video I made in 2005. It was footage from the 2004 DVDs of the Star Wars Original Trilogy.
@@dbroadwayvfx I found a video of the disc and it only had the Anakin vs Obi wan scene and the Darth Vader scene where did the other scenes come from?
@@fintheclonetrooper5039 That's the one. Some of these other were made from scratch by me with CGI.
