Awesome! Nice of the boys to let Dave join in. And great to hear Dave playing with a proper Kick Ass Rock Band. For a Change. The Mighty Pretty Things! The Beatles catchphrase was 'Yeah Yeah Yeah! The PTs is 'OH NO!' Freak Freely.
@Nemexhor have you heard the Zombies album Odessy and Oracle? Awesome album . The most unfortunate about the 60s is that the Stones and the Beatles overshadowed a lot of new bands. Odd. I love the Beatles and the Stones, but I hate how the were singled out and most of the other bands were placed on the back burners of history until a much later date.
well done sowhat dude1 and others supporting the pt's. Saw them perform at Cowes week in the 90's still had it.Funny though my mum hated them and said that if ever i grew my hair as long as Phils' i would be disowned cheers Destitutexxxx
The Pretty Things are the best, saw them in Madrid not long ago, great gig. Nice they let Mr Gilmour in. Old Man Going!...not too far please, we need ya.
The pretty things were absolutely brilliant, I didn't know they were still going. thanks! I was 'in love' with Phil May when I was 13, used to carry his photo in my purse - he still looks good.
Yes, sadly Phil May, the former sanitary worker from Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away this year. His bong was lying peacefully half full at his side with a copy of ZAP COMICS NO. 0 open in his hands. His cat Pud was pretty much oblivious to the situation as he was found with both feet kicking an empty box of Hartz catnip. Phil was cremated and snorted by an old bowling friend, Keith Richard.
This is Music. Amazing two drummer. How often do you see this? David Gilmour plays his Guitar very similar to the song, from the S.F. Sorrow album. R.i.p. Phil May, Brian Pendleton
Gilmour plus The Pretty Things= Win.
Arthur Brown & David Gilmour on the same stage WOOW
This is a great reunion show. Plus David Gilmour and Arthur Brown as guests.
The solo was the very definition of a David Gilmour solo.
Incredible stuff
An adventure in excellence.
Boy, that was an excellent guitar solo by David Gilmour.
Never seen this. OMG.
The inventors of the concept album and the man who conceived the most popular one.

I loved this group when I was 12-13 or so ....and they still keep on surprising me

Mr Gilmour turns into Pink Floyd everything he touches. Amazing.

Did anyone else see them in London, Parlament Hill, together with the Deviants, around 1969?
Grande Gilmour
is that arthur brown at the start?
Well fucking done...
nice sound and vid
From the original Pretty Things to SF Sorrow was quite a transformation! How much of today's sh!te will be around in 40 years time
Oh yes, very much so.
@brightwhite1 i'll second that. S.F Sorrow is one of the great albums. check it out novices..
No, Phil is alive and well and just finished kickin' out the jams on tour all over Europe with The Pretty Things.
Did we lose Phil May this year? I hope i'm mistaken , thanks for this really cool post!
He's gone now r.i.p 2020
Listen to Gilmours solo and tell me he's not the worlds greatest player.
Stamina there on acoustic rhythm!!!
That's "PT'S" Guitarist Frank Holland on that (PRE-"TOMMY/"Pin Ball Wizard")
Strum here Andrea🎸🕶
YEA so Gilmour is a god.
Roger Waters is hiding in the loo desperately trying not to tap his foot.
Hard to HEAR with his Snout CRAMMED INTO "The Bowl" huh' I.F.!!??
@@Slamit88 Yes it's hard to tap a foot when one's on all fours.
The Pinky Things
Sounds like early WHO
@KX76 I hope you even reach 60, let alone make great music like this. I forgot, kids today value looks over talent. Go back to your XFactor sonny!
This video deserves repeated listening/watching. It's a bonus that David Gilmour is guesting on guitar.
i dont like the colour distortions, it takes away the point in filming it.
It's sounds good because the old guys sings that!! Good dave's solo, but with some mistakes
how much of last week's sh!te will be around next month?
the music industry is indeed in a sad state of affairs.
